Heya, grats on the new tablet! It will take you at least a month to get fully used to it, so don't expect to be pumping out masterpieces as soon as you get it. To get smooth lineart, it helps if you zoom in. How much you zoom in depends on your image size; I've attached a screenshot of something I was working in Photoshop. It can also help to do something like http://x86op.deviantart.com/art/Tablet- ... g-85911307 . Offering to ink sketches for others helped me to be much more comfortable with my tablet; just make sure you ask the other person before you ink if you plan on submitting it to a website!

Anyways that aside, you did a good job for your first try Actually, I could say it's really good. Your next step is to probably use darker colors to make shadows. And now the critiquing comes...

1) Head - Did I address this before? If so I don't remember... But the shape of the head... is off. It should be a round.. kind of shape? (I know there are all kinds of head shapes in the world but I do believe they all have some roundness ^^;;) Oh, by head shape, I'm talking about the top of the head... not the face. Don't get me wrong lol
2) Hair - It's okay. I'm just noting to add shadows to it. But my main concern is... what happened to the rest of that black haired girl's hair? o_O;; It's like... the other side is gone... or wait. If you were too lazy to do it, then forget what I said. For now, it's all good XD
3) Face - The face of the little boy... the part of it that meets the hair... shouldn't be a slant like that. (I used to draw that myself lol) And the black haired girl's chin is too sharp IMO.
4) Ears - The black haired girl's ears are too small. The others are okay, I guess.

And yeah. That's all I'm saying today... sorry I was picking on the black haired girl. >.< The one I like best is probably the boy. I didn't really critique the profile face because first off I suck at profile faces too, and second I didn't think there was anything majorly wrong compared to the others. Hah... I get really wimpy when giving critiques so I try not to be so brutal about it (And I hope you think I'm not ^^;;) but maybe sometimes I do say some harsh things... I don't know. So I'm sorry if I sound mean or something like that. <.<;; (Just giving my honest opinion... D:)

BTW I'm not on my comp now but when I am, would you like me to draw you a pic where I fix your probs? (Idk what those are called...) and good job, your eyes improved! No longer so much space between them! Hooray~! ^O^

@EternalDream, that's called a redline c: Typically you use the color red but you can use any color so long as it contrasts with the original image. I tend to use blue or green.

Teehee, I just watched the video &nana haruta is AMAZING!!! I love her mangas <3 The manga's drawing is also one of my favorite style in anime drawing.

The transitions in your video was also well planned. It was smooth enough that I was not "forced" to watch. I liked it

JPG does have lower file sizes but it lacks transparency, so you have to use PNG for transparent backgrounds.
