I was born in China, both my parents are Chinese. I am currently living in Canada. I can speak Cantonese and English, understand some Mandarin and read a little bit of Chinese, took French until end of high school, but can't really speak it.

Since we do not have enough Germans here already, add another one to the count.
I live in a small city in North Rhine-Westphalia, that's bordering on the Netherlands. My mothers family comes from a different city in the same region and my fathers family originated in East-Germany. Pretty boring, I'm afraid.
Mother-tongue is German(duh), English the secondary language and during my school years I learned Latin as well. All but forgotten these days though.
But I'm learning Japanese at the moment, one foreign language is simply insufficient.

Was born in Australia while my mother is from China and my father is from Singapore.
Currently living in Victoria, Australia. Lived in Australia my entire life so I'm fluent in English. I'm also fluent in Mandarin (chinese),
since my mother can't really speak English without making a really weird mistake.
Studied French for 4 years. Japanese for 6 years. German for 2 years. Starting Korean lessons next month...

Interesting Fact About My Family:
My mother used to be a famous artist in China and my grandfather on my mothers side was the general of the Chinese Army against the war with Japan.
