Hm...yes- you're kind of right actually. Now people wait with excitement for a whole year to enter this- it's really cool! If it was more than once- people could get lazy and procrastinate always for "next time" .

Aw boo, I always forget that NaNoRenO is in March until too late.
I am currently working on a shorter, kinetic novel project apart from DDC, but it wouldn't qualify for NaNoRenO anyway since it's been ongoing (and I wouldn't want to rush it just to finish it by the end of this month). But, I'm really excited to see what everyone makes! ^0^

Next NaNoRenO, I am going to make sure that I walk AROUND any treacherous icy spots. Typing and a sprained wrist do not go together.

I'm already almost two days behind on the proofreading I volunteered for (again, the sprain makes it a pain to take notes), but I'm going to get that done and out tomorrow. I think my chance at finishing something of my own in March is shot, though.

Maybe I should just do episodes instead... The fact that the introduction ALONE is longer than every visual novels released this year, plus I am... nowhere near actually completing the storyline... yeah. I'm gonna end up having to tap out and do multiple releases. It'll allow me to get more CGs into the end product. ^_^ Yeah. Just keep telling myself that I didn't fail.

As long as you get something released, even if it is just an episode, you haven't failed. Most of my Fail is my tendency to make things overly convoluted, and wind up with a 50-85k word novel, and not a lot of it suitable for VNs.
