Summary:
Unwilling to be replaced in her position as a minor kingdom’s princess by a popular and semi-perfect rival, Lillian has to fight other ladies in raising sim themed card battles. “Work”, “School” and “Item” cards all raise stats and the goal is to raise all your stats to maximum before the opponent does.

Checked out your devlog and am quite looking forward to seeing how this plays.

The fact that the artwork rocks (did you make them all yourself?) doesn't hurt either.
Keep up the great work

Glad you like it! All the character sprites are custom made for this game by Yuen Eriyama. We will post the rest during the next few weeks.

with the title and the plot i can't blame myself but to think this resembles Princess Waltz(w/o the H scenes, the romance element and the male protagonist).

I look forward to this one! Goodluck!

Is Olivia based on the Princess Maker character? Because I remember the default name for PM 2 was Olive.. :D

Amaryllis' design is my favorite, but Olivia is a close second. Looking forward to seeing the game mechanics here.

Cool that's a nice idea for a game. Quite some time ago (almost 3 years!) an user in my forums suggested something similar: http://www.winterwolves.net/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=541 after I finished my card RPG game Magic Stones. I thought was interesting but did other stuff instead.
I'm curious to see how you'll implement the gameplay, the computer AI (if there's some) and so on.

Good luck :)

Thank you everyone for expressing interest in this game!

OtomeWeekend, jack_norton:
Wow, that's interesting. I wasn't aware of either! I guess my ideas aren't all that original. In any case, we'll try to make this an interesting game!

Haha don't worry, it's the execution that matters. I think really "original" ideas aren't anymore. There are so many mechanics/gameplay element in a videogame, that two games starting from same idea can be completely different.

We're currently redesigning the battle screen interface. In the meantime, I wanted to show you some new characters!

Here's a work in progress screenshot of the battle screen. It's still full of placeholders (cards, interface, bg).
Lillian is losing the battle

The boys are cute. :) I like them
as for the battle screenshot, Amaryllis's head is being covered partial by the interface.
