Character and Background artists needed

Dear artists,

My name is Feather Thief and I am in need of at least one or more character artist and background artist for my visual novel project. The project has had artists and background artists in the past but due to lack of communication from them I was forced to drop them. I still do not wish to give up on this project as we had made starts before things fell apart.

The visual novel is a standard guy pursues girl with five different lead female characters. The visual novel will be full length and will have no sex scenes in it and most likely only a bit of mild nudity/fan service. If you are okay as a character artist drawing that I would appreciate your assistance. All characters are fully designed and the plot has been developed and is solid with the actual writing of the script having begun already. Background artists I have made lists of backgrounds needed and am prepared to work with you to your schedule on how quickly you can produce backgrounds.

Although I am open to allowing plenty of time to create a high quality result we will have deadlines in order to guide ourselves towards a goal. I currently have a musician and an assistant writer that are helping me. Anyone who would be willing to volunteer their services (for free) to create this visual novel (again free) I welcome you aboard. I hope that we can produce a wonderful work together.

Thank you for the offer but I'm afraid to say that your art is not what I'm looking for in this project. I know it sounds like I am being snobby but I really am looking for the best artists I can for this project. Keep up your work on your art and your Doujin though and keep looking around lemmasoft for someone who needs your help.

I am so sorry for being incredibly picky here and again super snobby. I feel bad because I hate to turn anyone down especially those who are volunteering to work for free. I appreciate all of you who offer your services to me and am so sorry to say no, but it just is not what I am looking for in my art. I wish you all luck because I know there is someone out there, probably in a post above me or below me who will snap you up and treasure you and your art in and instant, but I am so sorry to say (for both myself and you) that it is not me. Good luck on your donations pool though Tag- and good luck on finding a great visual novel to work on.

Let's see, well obviously the closer to the standard modern anime art the better. My last artist (I love her dearly even though she was atrocious with deadlines .

But basically as close as possible to more modern style moe~ moe~ desu stuff.

I don't really think I'm all that great an artist, but this would give me something productive to do.

Everyone seems to think so. I kind of wish I thought so, too. I'm kind of a freelancer...sort of. And I'm rather shy and self-concious, so I hardly ever post my art anywhere at all.
