In fact, I lost motivation to do anything at all on the game for over a year (I then made the decision to start over and been working ever since). Though it helps I'm jobless with nothing left to do

Ah yes, money would be lovely to have. Luckily I can sell my skills as a graphic designer to get a bit of cash, but not that much.

Yeah, sorry, the engine I'm making it with doesn't support Mac. Though I've heard of programs that emulate WIndows on the Mac and you can play it like that.

Ahh yea. An emulator. But it only works for registered games, or something like that. I tried but the program didn't run. *shrugs*
It's okay. I'll just ogle at the pretty pixels <3

I have fond memories of Harvest Moon, and the simple effects of the "bleep bleep bleep" in the text and the inventory screen, things like that help so much.

Just a small update to announce Tailor Tales's two year anniversary (which was actually yesterday, *cough*). Though the first half year was made in a different style, the next year I stopped working on it ... and now for the past 5 months I've been working on it again ^_^

Here's a series of screenshots to show you what I'm working on at the moment:



The dialogue system and portrait system are almost complete (minus the actual dialogue that appears in-game, and actual images for the portraits).

Harvest Moon and Animal Crossing are two of my favorite games. And this games looks epic. The art is so beautiful and the concept very appealing. Good Luck!

Update ~

I finished adding Calvin, Roy and the fox to the game (meaning, their schedules are now working). That means all bachelors can now be found walking around the maps. You cannot interact with them though, except for Bill, since he's my test subject.

Here's a nice screenshot where Calvin and Roy are making a quick get-a-way because Bill is done working:



Then I added a menu for when you go to bed, and added an option to take a 4 hour nap:



I have also finished two more NPC portraits (Lily and Buck), and sketched out two other NPCs (Eddie and Vivian):

(none of these are datable!)


And lastly, I have finished including Bill's cotton & flax shop, so now you can actually buy some stuff!



I only need to add the wool shop and then beta 1.0 is ready to be released ^_^
