Is this where I submit a query about a bug? I was taking a walk around, and went into the cave (this is the first day of the game, the Monday) and saw James there. I tried to talk to him but he kept.. Flickering? And said nothing. I don't know if it's a bug or not but I thought you should know.

Only Bill, the redhead, can be interacted with. All the other NPCs cannot be interacted with.

Update

Two new NPCs whose portrait are finished:



As well as the conception of the Affection Mode system, which allows you to touch the bachelor in various places through various commands after you went on a date with him.



Fill his meter up all the way, and provided you're married, you can 'make love' with him. The censored version won't go past the 'reserved' phase, which means you can only pat/poke/slap him.

Haven't updated here in a while! Though not much has been done, aside from writing out some dialogue (did I mention you can make a bachelor your BFF and torment him with questions because he's actually in love with you?).

Anyways, I wanted to show you a mock-up of the affection mode system, in which you can touch the guy.



You can choose an action and then shuffle over the body parts to ultimately perform them on the bachelor. The colour of his heart will indicate in what phase you are in (reserved, friendly, sensitive or hot), and it will beat bigger if you do an action on him that he likes - but it'll be broken if he doesn't like it. There's 84 possible actions you can perform, which is quite a lot. 85 if you consider the very last one an action as well *cough*.

The affection mode will not be available at all in the censored version.

Haha yeah, someone already pointed out the system seemed a lot like TMGS - I never heard of it before though, but I'm addicted to it now! Their system is obviously loads better than mine, what with touch screen and all.

Still, I had always wanted you to be able to touch the guys in my game from the very start. I've improved a lot on the initial 'emoticon system' that I had, which just made you choose a bunch of actions from a list. This is what it looked like:



So in that regard, I improved a lot
