I am interested.

Here are some samples of my renditions of the main characters of the comic Homestuck. I am a young girl, so I apologize for any lack-of-ability to do male voices. I think I'm decent enough, though.

Wow, I am SO GLAD to see so much interest! I'll be needing some guys soon, though, but I have plenty of female roles open, too!

@xSamChan; I like your voice! Sounds good.

@ebi; Aww, don't be embarrased. Your voices sound excellent, with multiple ranges. And your mic actually wasn't that bad. It still needs to sound a little clearer, but for the most part, the distortion was quite low.

^ Okay, I will have to redownload winrar again before I can listen (my old computer crashed, so I will use my bro's). Ooh, and you can sing? I'll be sure to watch that vid, 'cause since each playable character will get their own opening sequence, I may need multiple singers ^.^

@Azure; I like your voice (as well as your singing). The only problem is your mic quality. It's a little distorted sounding. I recommend getting a good mic with a soundboard or software. If you'd like, I can look some up for you ^.^

@Ryouko; Ooh, a German accent wouldn't be a problem (that actually might make good for suspense). If you're interested still, let me know, and I might have a part for you ^.^

As long as it's fine with you - sure. =)
Do you have some lines you'd like me to say or would you prefere it if I record some random sentences? =o

Some random sentences, since I will need to decide what character you'd be suitable for ^.^

I'm sorry to intrude on the conversation, but Azure, what kind of mic do you have? It might not just be your mic that's lowering the quality of your recordings.

Edit:
Listening to the samples, you would simply need to use noise reduction. To fix any puffs into the mic, turn your mouth slightly away from the mic. It's best to record with the mic to the left or right of your mouth, rather than right in front of you. You may do that or use a pop filter.

A tip: Audacity is a really good and FREE sound editing software. It also has a built-in noise removal function as long as the distortion wasn't too high to begin with.
The best reason to get up in the morning is to outdo yourself: to do it better than you've ever done it before. But if you haven't done it better by nightfall... look at your globe and pick a spot: it's always morning somewhere.

Audacity is an acceptable and typical program for amateur voice actors. I do not personally use it, but I do know of many AVAs who use it.

@Azure
You are using a headset, then. Those are a bit harder to use because the mouthpiece is always in front of your mouth, and you can't really adjust it otherwise. Most likely, it'll catch puffs and pops. I suppose, if you didn't want to get a new mic, you could try pronouncing letters that would pop ('b's and 'p's) softer than you usually would to avoid that.

Aside from that, though, the quality certainly didn't sound too bad from what I heard. If you were to use noise reduction for your recordings, it would have this quality: http://www.box.com/s/mh6335xivego97x3rbi3

I'm not sure what kind of computer you have, but it might also be your headset's volume. Go to 'start', click 'control panel', click 'hardware and sound', click 'manage audio devices' under sound, click the tab titled 'recording', then click the tab titled 'levels.' If your headset's microphone's volume is at 100, lower it to a smaller number, like 75 or 50.
