@Destiny: Technically we already have a demo/prologue, but it's from October so it's pretty outdated in terms of graphics/UI/etc. XD; Still, if you're interested in the BCM universe, you might want to give it a try. :3

@Obscura: There is always something good happening at Cyanide Tea. :D

Just a note that we are closing beta testing "applications". We got a nice group of new testers and I think this'll be a great number for Beta 2, so thanks to everyone who inquired! Depending on how things go, we might look for more beta testers for the last round of testing, though, so keep an eye out. /o/

I have 3 standard backgrounds to do, 2 more complicated ones (a pan and one that has 3 detailed variations) and one that is half GUI half background.

This one isn't completely final yet, nothing is. Based on a photo by Samu-kun.

@Arcanum, hehe, I was drawing a bunch of stuff that I thought would taste good! I really love those patisserie stores where all the cakes are like artworks~

@Veniae, Thanks :D I came up with the idea while I was looking for reference photos and I started thinking that is wouldn't make sense for Natsume to not be behind the counter >:( So I figured that if I did the background and counter separately, then I could sandwich him in-between them. So the counter acts like a character or object in that it can overlay the other sprites. I just had to draw it separately, so it looks something like this:

I finally got to play the (german) demo.
I love the writing and the mood *_*
The idea of time jumping is really cool and I love the pictures in the profiles (yeah, I'm kind of macabre)

I really hope to see this finished, it looks really intersting, even though nothing really happend in the demo (except for that little hint with Yukinari being somewhat teasing in the future)

@Destiny, Thank you :D When we are a bit closer to releasing the full game we will be creating another demo for the game that will actually include content from it, so it will be a much better indicator of the actual story.

I have complete the base for the very last background!!! All I have left to do for it is draw lots of objects that will create 3 individual rooms. After that I will be moving on to editing them all and creating the day/light variations, but I'm on deadline which is great!

We have also hired Korochi as a composer and the music is sounding wonderful~ You can listen to some bits of the current works in progress at the top of our blog, as well as see a couple of the backgrounds I haven't shown yet http://blog.cyanide-tea.net/2012/07/17/composer/

I have done all the light variations for all the backgrounds I have. I still have one more to do that recently popped up and a couple minor changes and things to add. I'm pretty sure a couple minor things are going to pop up in the second half of the story as well, but I can deal with them later. Overall I expect to be done before the weekend :)

If you also build slightly moving sun beams and rustling leaves into your backgrounds throughout the game then I will doubt you are human, I swear x'D
Nah, it looks gorgeous (even though I'm thinking hard how you add that since Ren'Py doesn't support .gif for as far as I got it ôo)

Can't wait for the newer demo then, will surely be incredible!
(Watch out or people will ignore the story and simply stare at the art with a blank mind :'D)
