@ryouko: I just wanna say,I really love how you handled colors in the second picture. :9
The pencil tool looks like you're actually using a real pencil and scanning a picture too!
umm I was a bit jelly of your hair-coloring skills, so I attempted at copying it, lool. Really, I'm jealous of how you draw/shade hair so well. :v
And agreeing with mangafee, maybe you could make her chin longer with a bit more fat?

A couple of new things I did:
This one is a mix of my normal and my lazy style, which I like.
And I did a concept of the human form of Mihail Lupei from Aeternam.
Yes, I know I suck at mustaches

Oh wow Ryouko! The colors and way you did it makes it look so pretty!
I also agree. That's a rockin' mustache!

Re: Art Dumpage! Show your art ^^
It's mainly just used for touch up, like if you need a particular spot to be a bit lighter or darker. I barely use it as is let alone on photos so I can't give you a comparison between it and the other ways of lightening stuff, but I do know it was meant for photo editing since I'm pretty sure that was photoshop's original purpose.chocojax wrote:@Nuxill: Oh, really? I've never used it, so. x:
Just curious, when do people use burn/dodge tools on photos?
And, I tend to do that a lot because I'm going too fast. ): Tone it down, as in use it less or make the color less dark?
( Did some editing with a mouse, do you mean this area or the cheekbone area?? x: )
And thank you. :v
@Mink: wot?
Also what you did with the cheek bone is exactly what I meant by toning it down. It looks much better imo.

Re: Art Dumpage! Show your art ^^
Just thought of posting this(since this is the only thing I even draw as of lately).
It's a summer project in our art class. I just ended up doing a 'no to bullying' poster because it was the easiest(I think).
I know this is very ugly but if you look back, it's better than my digital drawings(I go better with my pencil, I guess)
oh and sorry for the bad quality... it's too big to be scanned in my scanner and my camera isn't really the new fangled and high tech one.

Re: Art Dumpage! Show your art ^^
I made some pixelart for Ludum Dare... and I might try AGS soon as well. I think I'm bored of the limited gameplay potential of visual novels, when those elements can be added to other games without any issues, through conversation systems, options, and simply CGs and backgrounds.
I'm not even the same person anymore
Re: Art Dumpage! Show your art ^^
That pixel art is so good. Those rocks! That newt!
The only thing I didn't like that much was the background in that 'the end' screen.
Here's the title screen for my current project, dunno if it even counts as something to post here since I just mixed public domain images and added text, bu anyway, I'd love some critique

My avatar art is a freebie by SilverHyena. Thanks a lot!

I'm planning to use this image in a forest scene of my VN, it was drawn using photoshop CS4.
Any constructive criticism would very much be appreciated. =D

Re: Art Dumpage! Show your art ^^
I'm in the process of remaking Soul and Heart's art and make it into a new KN with new and omitted scenes... it also includes turning everything into color (but I'm really trying to stick with the grayscale!).
My coloring and drawing style had been quite varied these days because I've been practicing several styles at the same time. XD Comments?

@marineknight; you might want to look up some tree tutorials. I think you've created a very interesting abstract piece, but i'm not sure I see a forest in there quite yet ^^;
@Lumen_Astrum; it looks nice! :D The greyscale with a touch of colour looks rather lovely~
I don't quite have enough put together to warrant a thread, but here are some concepts i've been working on for a personal project :')..
