Anyone know any Vampire/Victorian/Medieval sims?

#1 Post by Midi »

I'm a sucker for vampire romance and such,(not the twilight kind, yuck). I've been looking around for a decent dating sim with some. Can't seem to come across one.

Erm, don't know any dating sims, but there's always Grinning Love? It's a KN though xD I have yet to play it, but the art and story seem good :')
And azureXtwilight's VN's are all set in the medieval period-ish xD

Fatal Hearts has vampires in it, although it's not a sim-style game.

Bloody Bride Imadoki no Vampire is a Playstation game from 1996, translated by fans in 2003. It features a main character who's the vampire equivalent of a teenager. His goal: find a girl who will voluntarily let him suck her blood. It's a complex simulation game with worksafe content and BxG pairings. It's been out of print for years... but you want to import a legit copy, you might find one through auctions or import game retail sites.

If you're okay with freeware visual novels that involve vampires, then you might enjoy The Curious Alliance.

Not sure what to suggest for Victorian or medieval era games/VNs... here's three which you might like. Matches and Matrimony: A Pride and Prejudice Tale will appeal to you if you enjoy Jane Austen's novels. It's an inexpensive indie game for Windows and Mac. Tristan and Iseult is a retelling of a story that's been around since at least the 12th century CE. It's a freeware game with some SRPG gameplay. Also, there's The Loyal Kinsman, a freeware VN set in the 14th century.

Not really checking the forums any more due to time constraints, so if you want to contact me, PM. I'll get a notification and log in.
Also, I've been hit and run posting, which means I don't see many replies. If you want to respond to something I've said, also feel free to PM me.

NOTE: if you've got questions about vnovel or things like that, it's Leon that you should be contacting. Leon's been pretty much handling everything, but due to various reasons, I've had to withdraw entirely.

the Second Reproduction seems to have vampires. I've never played it and only saw some screenshots in tumblr so I'm not sure.

No, there aren't any vampires in it, those are demons. :) And yes, it has an English patch.

I believe that is an artistic choice, seeing as the humans have them too.
