Hey guys, I just want to let you know where we're at with this game.

I'm currently:
-Waiting for art and music assets by others
-Programming, bug fixing and balancing
-Doing simple graphical touch ups
-Making the promo afterwards

I'll be putting up a beta tester sign up form when we're near completion. I'm not recruiting right now since some people have school and they might be busy with tests later, and I don't have an exact date of when I'll be done. The game is also very big and very lengthy, so I need people with enough time and motivation to test. Just check your schedule when it's time for beta testing. =D

Darn, I'm so excited. It's taken over 2 and a 1/2 yrs off my free-time life ^^;

P.S- I also deleted the outdated art from the first post, and added some new screenshots.

I Love It!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just downloaded it yesterday and I've been playing ever since! There are some errors towards the end of the 2nd/3rd? year...like I can't see the people status or whenever I go to the mall I'm unable to buy new clothing. This has happened twice so far in the game. The first during summer and the one now. I can't see the date and I can't see what my character is wearing.
I'm aiming for Chase: 330 academics, 202 Athletics, 137 charm, 63 style and 1051 money (just so you can see where I am at the moment.)

It's an amazing game and I can't wait until it's complete!!

Oh, I didn't realize that it was done. Can you tell me how I can fix the little issues I have on the computer? Like the buttons disappearing, the people section is blank, and I can't seem to shop for anything. I have a mac so...anything would help.

Hey! I've played your other game, Frozen Essence, and I've been playing Heartstring Bugs on my Mac ever since I've downloaded it!
But recently, I've had a few problems like the one above(I think it's above...) when I went into the middle of third year, when we started dating. The status with the chibis, the clothes disappearing etc.
I usually only save on one spot, so I couldn't go back(I've learnt a lesson there), and when I restarted the whole game, it started working. I've tried the menu thing you posted on another topic, but it doesn't seem to work.
DirectX is only for Windows, right? It's not appearing in the menu.
If there's any way to not lose my progress, please let me know.
