Ahahaha, actually, that's what happened on the first version, that's why it sucks so much and I hate it to infinity |D Majority of the sprites there have a new style (which is so odd since the side sprites look better than the main characters's sprites!) that's why I cheated the way they're shown so that it won't look too obvious XDD
And that's why I'm holding off shading as much as possible, because it changes more than my drawing itself. Drawing styles can be easily mimicked for me, but shading isn't. XD
And since I'm inserting placeholders...
Sorry, progress got super delayed; I just got Loren RPG's expansion and I can't stop playing XDD
I actually like the way it looks now, even though they're just placeholders |D I'm not doing any progress on the side sprites since I don't know what other CGs my sprite artist will be making*, but I'm sketching just in case.
While waiting for the CGs to be finished, I'm placeholder-ing everything now! And since it's widescreen, I can't just type "at left" or "at right" to position sprites, so I really have to ATL-position everything. Man, this would take longer than expected.
For all the other people (other than Doyle, since s/he keeps commenting), comments?

I sometimes feel like I'm talking to myself and spamming my own thread ono
* We work this way: I hand her a copy of the script with marked scenes where she should make the CGs. There are two colors of highlighter I used: one color for the necessary CGs and one for the "feel free to make it if you want to" CGs. She seems to be skipping the latter text, but she's also doing it sometimes, so it's a bit unpredictable XDD
