It is not long or maybe not your normal game here as I made it more like a movie.
Took one of the Dragnet Radio shows and made it into a VN.

Hmmm...admittedly there are a lot of Japanophiles on this forum (me included), and there is a certain bias towards anime-style or ren'ai (romance).
Here the sprites are 3D generated and its a detective story.
Well, it does seem like the first Ren'Py detective story!
But this little episode of dragnet does indeed play like a true half-hour episode (what little I remember back from my TV watching days).
It's a good story
Technical comments, if I may.
* Some dialogue text should be chopped up into smaller textboxes. Sometimes the textbox just gets filled up with too much text and doesn't look right. So maybe needs splitting into smaller paragraphs.
* I believe the music is Creative Commons, but some images are not. But since this is a Dragnet fan-game, then its only natural to use Dragnet images. The no-copyright restriction can be waived unless we get a message from whomever owns the copyright to the show (which is unlikely given how small we are)
* Just need a title screen.
But yeah, I believe its a solid kinetic novel and deserves at least mention in the Ren'Py Games listing. Just a little more minor corrections.

I knew already who the culprit was once the woman hotel owner/attendant mentioned the arrangement she had with her husband
