Sakura-con 07 (April 6th - 8th), Seattle WA

#1 Post by Misuzu »

Anyone attending this con? It'd be interesting to meeting new people ^_^.

I'll be running a fan translation panel and if somewhere here is brave enough, I suggest they make an OEL panel for our con too =D.

Either way, it would be cool to see who is coming and let me talk personally with everyone who is in our two communities who attends ^^.

And outside of my con ad, my personal ad for the record:
Age: 19
Gender: M
General Location: Bellevue WA
Looking For: Friends, gfs, internet friends, work friends, ect.. pretty much any type of friends =D! I like to socialize!

Want to meet: Uhmm... someone who has at least semi interest in visual novel/ren'ai/dating sim/eroge gaming and wont look at me weird for playing eroge gaming.

Interest: I like eroge. I like learning Japanese, and I like translating. I really enjoy what I call "plot-based" anime or anime with a focus on character development. I also love collecting collectible trading figures! I'm not much of a game player, but I do enjoy fighting games, puzzle games, party games, and rhythm games (even though I suck most of the time).

Outside my gaming/anime interests, I am a technophile. I love seeing what new and coming with the computer world, especially within the mobility world. I also love web programming, database structoring, datamanagement, ect... It's something I'm currently learning right now and applying in action through VisualNews.

Occupation: I am currently a web developer for a small design firm and a student at a local higher level institution (UW:B/CCC)

Welcome to the forums! Good thing to see some people from the other side as well - and I should probably register over at your place, but I'm reaaaaly lazy when it comes to registering - that's why I like guest posting so much. :)

Welcome, Misu! I've been a great (though silent) fan of Visualnews since I first found it, so great to have you visit us too.

Too bad I'm on the opposite side of the world from Seattle. :P

Technically... you're actually on the opposite side of the world from Ecuador. Seattle is on the opposite side of the world from the southern ocean, as is most of the continental US.

I'm going, dunno what day I'm going. Or which cosplay I'm going to use either...I'm eyeing a CLANNAD costume on Cosmates, but I think I'd rather make my own; all I need is a good closeup of the school crest and I'd be set. Better then paying $244.x_x

Wow, I'm older than Misuzu O_O (just barely) I would never have thought xD
Too bad I can't go to cons like this, they seem more interesting than the one we have.
