We don't really have any romantic stats building games yet (unless I'm wrong??).
We certainly don't have hentai ones (just saying because of the examples given).
And DaFool gave a link to a "stats-based" game.

Do we have anything else from the community? *ponders*...

Wasn't Kykuit one?

Points-based romance...but you don't "level-up" or anything.

Though not specifically stat based, true tears is has that segmented day thingy where you can go choose what you want to do each day and it effects your "stats" with the girls you interact with. Might be worth a shot. Pity only the demo is available.

While really classical (it just *shows* the love points), True Tears was fun with its agenda system and I wish it would be a full english release :(

Me too... Out of all the demos I've played so far, I really liked True Tears the best.

True love and princess maker are, in my opinion, the best stat building games.
Ive never finded nothing like those.

Anyway, magical boutique seems a good option :D

i havent played it yet, so ill do it soon :)

EDIT: (Its harvest moon considered as a "stat building game"?)

*shameless plug for shameless promotion* make sure you don't decide to play it just before heading out somewhere or you might be late!

Regarding Harvest Moon series....I'm not so sure. I have HM Back to Nature and the focus is on the farm - but having the villagers like you is certainly a plus....hmmmmmmm...

The problem with stat-building games is they are few and far between...I would say for every successful stat-building game out there, you will have maybe 20 or 30 others where the stat-building isn't the focus - or not at all.

Garden Society Kykuit, Magical Boutique, Princess Maker 2....geez I should be able to think or more....but I would think the first two are the best, because they were made here in the forums, with people in the forums making the games themselves.

*ahem*

Cute Knight

and the due-next-month new-graphics

Cute Knight Deluxe

... and SOMEDAY a sequel but trying to finish Fatal Hearts first...

Admittedly not free though. But neither is True Love / Maid's Story.

By the way, papillon, I absolutely loved the 6 months of Cute Knight that I could play. It was brilliantly done, and I think I'm going to get the Deluxe version for my sister when it comes out. You managed to build both variety (breadth) and depth into the game, and that by itself was enough to convert me to an evagelist for it. :) Now to tell all my friends...
