To be fair, "Half naked boys in swimming pool" is kind of obvious. You don't go swimming fully dressed.

Bathing suits from before the 1950s and pale-skinned nerd boys would disagree with that blanket statement. Or you could be a victim of your mother's nerdiness and horrid fashion sense and not realize until you're 11 that you shouldn't be swimming with a shirt on. Not that I would know anything about that....

But there's nothing wrong with swimming in a shirt! It means you don't have to use as much sun screen! It's cost-effective!

It must really be hard to draw nipples, you know, they just MUST BE complicated and HARD, it even makes me scared of drawing them now XD (No just kidding, my bishounen are immune to such diseases 8D). You know, that was my first reaction as well - that this was some sort of practical joke or social commentary, by taking the sort of fanservice that is common in anime and genderswapping it.

But there's nothing wrong with swimming in a shirt! It means you don't have to use as much sun screen! It's cost-effective!

Plus, it hides the fact that you don't have a navel.

They often make random commercials outside of their main projects.
Though many employees of the company are females, so it's natural they want to make an anime for yaoi fan girls.

Too bad it's just a commercial, but judgin from the crowd reaction, hopefully something will come out of this. Though I really don't know how swimming will make a good story ... one match only last a few minutes and there seems no strategy involved, the one who paddles harder won XD. Maybe it will work if it focus more on the daily life of the swimming club members instead of the swimming competition though.

It's all thanks to my Life Drawing professor who wanted perfect-looking nipples in all our nude drawings...that was painful lol...

I showed this to my friend who does competitive swimming, and he can't stop telling me how swimmers aren't that cut.

Edit: I want this to be a actual anime. But think how much money they're putting on the line to produce it.

As much as Solunar was able to provide me with a decent laugh, having the smoothest body doesn't increase underwater speed but is actually counterproductive. (To anybody who heard this enough, sorry for repointing that out.)

Self-correction: Oh wait, on second thought, competitive swimsuits are not only textured but also supposed to streamline the body. Perhaps such unnecessarily un-hydrodynamic bodily features may have an non-zero effect in critically hardcore situations.
