It'd be nice to actually keep an art thread for once, so, I'll try here! Haha. As in the title, any sort of critiques and/or comments would be appreciated.

Uh, to start off, here's a WIP of something I've been drawing for my friend. Any sort of help on her left (on the right side) arm would be nice, haha. And if it seems like I forgot to shade/add in something, please remind me. uvu

Okay,

Take my advice with a grain of salt, I'm not really an artist, but I really like the top half. The reason the arms look off to me is that they are being painted in different ways, the top with a more abstract type of color, and the bottom with a blended kind of motiff that doesn't match the main body's coloring. The bottom looks off with the colors with the bottom having a lighter part as well...

But, still better than anything I can do. I think it looks great.

It's fine! I mean, even if you're not a chef, you can still tell what's wrong with the food, right? :p

(I actually blended one of the arms because someone told me it looked like she had hairy arms, hehe.) I tried to make the blended one less blended; does it look better, or does it look like she has hairy arms? :p

The bottom looks off with the colors with the bottom having a lighter part as well...

Not really sure what you mean by this, though. Do you mean the bottom as in bottom part of her body -> her shirt/skirt? Or, her bottom arm?

somehow missed the making of gif when I saw this earlier but always nice to see a new art thread and she looks very mischievous like she is making a plan or just set one in motion. Netravelr might be referring to the skirt light being down to far cosidering she has that part blocked off to the sunset by the wall but I could be wrong.

Yeah! I kinda wish people made more art threads. I love looking at them!

Well, she wasn't that close to the "wall" in my mind, but it does kinda look that way, huh?

Tried to fix the back-lighting of the skirt and tried to make the skirt less flat.



And, here's an updated version of the progress animation, haha.

I'll also be gone to another state for a while, so I may or may not update within two weeks. Thanks for all of the help, guys!

I like watching the animations as well its interesting seeing people's work process.

I have been grinding in Shin Megami Tensei ever since I got it. It's so fun, haha. Also, drew Isabeau (she's cute!! in a strange way) last night after I came back from my trip. I stayed up until 6AM, orz.



I also draw the worst at night. :p

I was looking through my images folder and found something I saved a long time ago that I thought was really interesting/cute looking. So, I tried to doodle/imitate the style, haha.
