Hm, thinking about how you can keep the core mystery generic enough to reshape into specific MOs as you make choices is a really interesting challenge, I look forward to seeing you make it work.

For the record, the anime you're thinking of is Higurashi, and funnily enough that started out as a Visual Novel. Its story structure is different to what you're going for (and the art is something... special), but it's still neat.

Pickle: aww thanks! We're dedicated all next month to working on the game so there should be a lot more updates soon.

Update:

-New Account: I got married so I made a new account to accommodate the name change.

-I'm back! I disappeared for quite a while, so apologizes for that. Real life got busy and the game had to be put on the back burner.

-Bad news/Good news. I still love this project but i'll be holding off on it a while longer. I think tackling something so huge for a first game is a mistake, and there are lots of things that I want to change. So instead I'm making a smaller game to get my feet wet, one that will focus on quality over quantity and will probably be free/donations.
