WHY do developers insist on making stupid mobile and browser games?

It's not web browser game. It's a mobile device game, which can be android or iPhone. Both are pretty okay. There are plenty of amazing browser game, with great graphics and gameplay, which of course need high spec PC to run. Lots of 3D free-to-play Korean MMORPG are web-browser game, and lots of them sporting graphics equal to modern console/PC graphics (but let's not compare them to the best of PS3 graphics). Mobile games however, I'm a bit skeptic, though again, there are plenty of good mobile games out there. What I'm skeptic of is that mobile games usually means casual games or easier gameplay.

What makes me afraid is that Capcom still undecided to release the game outside Japan. The horror!!! Valkyria Chronicle 3 and Front Mission 5 (TT___TT)

This hurts me more than I care to admit. The Breath of Fire series is among my most treasured of games. Why can't they release it for a console? 3DS, DS, PSP/Vita? Why a mobile phone game?

Capcom is notorious these days for horrible decisions.

Curse you, Applegate. My hopes were raised by the thread title, apparently only to make it easier for you to stab them to death in the thread!

I played so much Breath of Fire when I was younger. And believe it or not, I even loved Dragon Quarter. It's one of my favorite games ever.

Capcom is old now. And apparently has dementia. They keep doing the same thing over and over and acting like its the first time. All the neighborhood kids want the delicious cookies they used to make, but Capcom has forgotten the recipes and now makes cookies out of sand and rocks. They won't even let their children like Inafune get their stuff out of their old room, apparently convinced their children still live with them. Time to put Capcom in an assisted care facility....
