Hello! This is our first small KN project, a murder mystery. So the motto is "simple but completed'! Well hopefully...



Plot

It's been 4 years since Samantha last saw her stepbrother Daniel. Suddenly he comes back home for her eighteenth birhtday with his new girlfriend Jess. Sam can't be any happier - she always adored Dan and missed him terribly. But their reunion is ruined with the news of Jess' death. Police considers it to be a robbery but Sam sensising something fishy decides to start her own investigation.

When you say murder mystery, what kind of tone are you going for? A classic Cluedo, something more dark and oppressive?

Just want to say, though...

the title seems like it's saying Dan killed Jess- since they're dating and all, it would be a "deadly attachment. I'm hoping I'm wrong and this is a red herring...

Here's the first screenshot! What do you think about colors? I've been checking images on different devices, and on some of them they look too bright (on samsung note, for instance).

Your artwork is gorgeous, and I always get a kick out of whodunit mysteries (as long as they're not predictable).

The game's almost completed. It took longer than I thought cause our programmer was busy and I had to do the coding myself (>_<) Unfortunately I simplified the GUI, but I hope it won't look too bad...

Oooh!! Mystery! I must follow this unrelentingly. I think the art style is completely perfect for the genre! Mystery is a very tricky undertaking for a first project especially, so I really admire you guys for going for it! I'll be looking very forward to playing this! Yay!
