We are close, I think! Finally made it past the starting area, its detour, and the next area (though we didn't solve any puzzles there?) and are in what seems to be the last area? We did have to cheat and look at the source code to figure out:
What the painting of the woman represents, and how to get it to change - actually, in that whole first area it took us a long time to figure out what the puzzles even are. It would have been much more straightforward if the paintings changed right away.
Also, I love
what you did with the player's answers to the psych test! But I never got to see the puzzle where it is used, if it is actually used? Maybe we'll come back to it later? I liked the valves puzzle, that was tricky but the artwork is so cool.
We can only play when the kids are in bed, so we have just been playing 2-3 hours a night, but I think we have put in about 12 hours?! It's longer than we thought, but in a good way.
Also, I found two typos:
When talking to the psychiatrist, he says "I that so?" instead of "Is that so?", and somewhere around there, the player says "sratch" instead of "scratch" - or maybe that is intentional?
Anyway, we are loving the game (even though it has kind of given me nightmares). If anyone wants a hint about a part of the game we have done, PM me and I will try to help.
