Thanks for the input everyone, I really appreciate it, I'm glad you like it ^^
As for the broken ToL1 page, I can only assume that Lemma is doing some renovating to suit his needs or something ^^ I checked earlier and that page was displaying the images, plus my copy of the file (that I sent to lemma) has the image links all set out exactly the same as the other pages so it should work.

Better navigation, better layout, quick info/dnload access, very good. And although it is pretty picture-intensive (Don't try this with a modem, kids!), it is still nicely readable and understandable even when I switch off the pictures and styles. Good work.Sai wrote:Thanks for the input everyone, I really appreciate it, I'm glad you like it ^^
Oh, BTW, what's that... U-shaped thingy under the "..ft" in the title?
It's part of a letter from a fancy font. A continuation of the same kind of thing that I used behind the girl (the diagonal line)mikey wrote:Oh, BTW, what's that... U-shaped thingy under the "..ft" in the title? :D
I quite like it when designers use fancy typography and focus on one part of a letter or word in a font and turn it into a sort of abstract design element, so that you come out with angular or flowing lines. Although I've not really tried it before. Typography and typographical (text) art is usually boring though when doing classes to be honest, but still important and useful o.o
It should hopefully be quick on a modem. I usually use a bandiwdth previewer to make sure it won't take 10 years to load. And it tells me how long it should take for a 33kb modem (the lowest you can probably get nowdays... if at all) to load. So for a 56kb it should be quicker. But I haven't had a 56kb modem in a looooong time (thank goodness) so can't test hehe
