Post you Desktop!

Mine gets as cluttered as Papillon's quite quickly, but every now and again I grab everything off of my desktop escept 'My Computer', 'Recycle Bin', Network Neighbourhood' and my 'upload' and 'download' directories, and stick it all in a folder called 'stuff'. The old 'stuff' directory can't have anything useful in it or I'd have moved it somewhere more sensible when I found it in there, so it gets deleted.

Two shots of my desktop. The first is normal, the second is while the desktop is being rotated. A standard suite of applications is open, more or less... Actually, I usually have dozens of terminal windows open, I closed a lot for this.

What we have here is my main linux desktop, along with my Win2k desktop running under vmware. In the top shot, I'm rotating the desktop cube... the video in the background can play while I'm doing the rotation, although I paused it for this screenshot.

This is split across two monitors, down the middle. The left half is a 19" LCD, the right half is a 19" CRT.

Hmmm, lordcoloudx's Win98 desktop made me feel nostalgic. If it wasn't for technical problems (HDDs and millions of drivers for equipment), I'd still use it. Actually, my favorite OS was Win95OSR2 (which had all the practical things from Win98).

Anyway... I'm happy that there are people who are minimalistic or simple (and that I'm not alone) - but I wouldn't have guessed who they were, to be honest. I guess that means that... you should never judge a person by their desktop

As you can probably tell, I am a huge fan of Japanese tokusatsu programming, my favorite being the Super Sentai series. The wallpaper was made for me by the user Ehmar on the forums for TV-Nihon (a toku/anime fansub group) using elements from my two favorite series, Kyoryuu Sentai Zyuranger and GoGo Sentai Boukenger.

Here's mine. (^_^) It's from a PS2 game, 戦国BASARA2. Japanese history is so exciting that they turn it into video games. Lol, oh and this game has a lot of bishies too.

PS: Yeah there isn't any icons cause I'm using a program called "RocketDock" and it kinda turns the interface like the Mac's so...

HOORAY for Mac OS X!!!
I didn't want to make the picture too big but...you can see some of my custom icons on the dock for Digital Colour Meter, Ren'Py, iTunes, Seashore, Corel Painter, Photoshop, iPhoto, Scanner, and Firefox.
I never felt like making more, haha ^_^;;;

Oh, another tokusatsu fan. Definitely a good thing given the scarce of such fandom. Though I am more into the cyborg heroes than sentai series.

My main PC's pretty old (5 or 6 years); that's why its max resolution is only 1024 x 768.

But the good thing is that I can choose my wallpaper from a plethora of pics I've been hoarding all those years. And I change it every week.
