Re: The last book you read or what are you reading right now
I just started reading Black Swan Green by David Mitchell anD I'M SCREAMING INSIDE MY MIND I'M HOOKED. I have so many books in my library that I've yet to open, but BSG is the latest book recommended to me by Simon (hey, buddy! *waves* o3o) and I was already intrigued by how much they liked it, but yesterday I read a fanfic Simon wrote for it and it WAS SO GOOD so I started reading it while going to sleep. It was a good thing that I was already dead tired, or I might have read the whole book in one go to the morning. xD Continuing tonight again, after work!

I just finished catching up with Game of Thrones. I'm starting to read Wicked. Sometimes I get weird looks for reading these books in Junior High... I just can't stand reading teen fictions.

"The Haunting of Hill House"; I started reading it during my recent travels, and I'm loving it so far! I saw the Robert Weiss movie a while ago, and I enjoyed that, and so far, this is just as good as the movie. It might just even become one of my favourite books ever.

I finished Penpal by Dathan Auerbach yesterday. I'm planning to pick up some horror titles to read in the next few days. I wonder if anyone have any recommendations for this? (Beside most classics titles and Stephen King, I have them on my list of books)

@Armee Oh, I read Penpal too. How did you like it? I remember it left me with a sickening feeling but the story was very captivating! I couldn't put it down.
What kind of horror do you prefer, more mystery or gore? If you want something subtle, I'd recommend you Willy by Robert Dunbar. It's one of my favourite stories but it's very confusing! Kind of leaves you wondering, what has really happened.
You can also read the Monstrumologist series if you're ok with a child protagonist. It's actually pretty gory for a children literature! The first and the last books are the best!
And for some ghost stories, these are quite good: The little strange by Sarah Waters, The turtle boy by Kealan Patrick Burke, A view from the lake by Greg F. Gifune.
*very happy someone reads horror too*

Re: The last book you read or what are you reading right now
I recently finished rereading yet another old favorite, "The Thirteenth Reality" by James Dashner(yes, the guy who wrote the Maze Runner series). It's a great book; one of these days, I've got to get the sequel, "The Hunt for Dark Infinity".
I also read "A View From the Bridge" by Arthur Miller a while back. It was...I don't even know. Weird. Strange. Heart-wrenching. I can't describe it, really. The narrator, Alfieri, had a few quotable lines, though. I think he's my favorite character.
@Shiu_Fuu
I've heard of the Monstrumologist series, but I've never actually read it. Maybe I'll get to that next.

My first completed visual novel, which is at 1.3, it's final version(woo hoo!): Monster Uses CPU 2
Finally at version 1.0: White Fog

You might ask yourself: If I could only save one paragraph of the work I'm writing, which one would I save?
Which one would I let go first?

Re: The last book you read or what are you reading right now
I tried reading Pride and Prejudice, I went to sleep. The book was such a bore.
I could not tackle the Portrait of the artist as a young man by James Joyce because of it.
Switched to something contemporary and I am glad it washed Austen's worst book.
Now I am completing Wuthering Heights.
Anyone with trouble sleeping? Read Pride and Prejudice.

Blazed through "Skin Game", latest Dresden Files novel, last weekend. I think now I'll re-read the entire series up to this point, just to pass the year or two until the next book comes out...

Tom Clancy's Sum of All Fear. A superb book... well, everything written by him is golden.

Re: The last book you read or what are you reading right now
Recently reread all of A Song of Ice and Fire (influenced by my reading into of a theory about the main plot of the series that I totally support now), and then went on to reread my favorite novel: Snow Falling On Cedars, just because I love it so much.
