Artist Looking for Short Term Novel for Portfolio Work

Hello!
I'm a small artist, looking for a small short term project in order to build up a little bit of a portfolio. So I suppose, those starting out with a small VN idea would be perfect. Something, where the art can be completed within a few months. My only real statement, is that I would be free to put work I create into a portfolio.

I'm looking to do a small amount of Sprite/Character work for free. Of varying facial expressions and possibly poses.
No CGs yet sorry, they're time consuming and I still have a lot to learn.

My examples are generally semi-realism, however, I can attempt an anime like style or a unque style.

I don't use sprites in my VNs, but you do nice work.
Potential customers will want to know if you work for free. If not, what are your prices?

Oh, ^^ I was looking for a small project to help for free. If it was long-term, (a large amount of sprites and variations), I would have charged. But I'm not in a position to do large work .
