Getting payed Friday! And, I released my third VN with Haze and am working on the fourth for Nar8 game jam

My family is doing better though times are still tough, and I'm on track to start paying for my education. Blessings abound, I hope everyone is well <3

Got my tablet driver to work on my sister's laptop so now I can get back into digital art! And I'm almost done with my portfolio with SCAD, so once I'm done with that I can be eligible for scholarships.

Hey, congrats to you! Hope you like SCAD!

Ok, my "shout for joy" isn't so much of a shout for joy as it is a battle cry.

I have no idea why I've been so afraid recently, so afraid to write the little bit of story I have left. I think-- no, I know-- it's because of all that self-doubt and complete lack of confidence I have; I can't finish a story if I don't believe in it. And when I really think about it, I know my game sucks. It's too short, and it's more "fiction" than "interactive", which is definitely a bad thing in IF. All of this is culminating in this complete inability to write, because, deep down, I feel like I'm a horrible author.

*takes a deep breath*

Well, no longer! I'm going to write tonight, and I am going to finish tonight! I am going to fix this story and enter it to the jam/comp with time to spare! I have the inspiration in me, and all I need to do is LET IT OUT AND WRITE!

*lets her breath out in one large whoosh*

I've decided that sciences aren't for me, so I'm going to take a year out to work, hopefully in a hospital, and do a part-time college course doing art and design, and then use that to get onto a foundation degree in art and design, and then use that to get onto game design

I feel better!
