[Ran08]

Lyra (name changeable) is a normal teenager studying in a normal school, with a normal family and a generally normal life. One day she finds out that she’s actually adopted, and that she’s not human after all. In this world and time, Monsters may be pretty common, but they’re still Monsters, so Lyra gets shipped off to Munster Academy, a renowned Monster school in their area. There she meets a fellow werewolf, Maiko, and a pompous bratty vampire, Bryce. Join Lyra as she gets used to her life in a new school, with new friends, and a new set of challenges for her to overcome.

Munster Academy is a GxB romantic comedy visual novel made in a week for the Monster Mash 2014.



LYRA
Lyra is a werewolf born and raised in the human world. Quite reluctant but very excited to experience her new life as a werewolf, Lyra enters Munster Academy with a determined spirit.


MAIKO
A werewolf who studies in Munster Academy. Due to their similarities, he and Lyra strike up a loyal and beautiful friendship.


BRYCE
A spoiled vampire who loves picking on other Monster races. Bryce thinks that all other races are inferior to the bloodsuckers, especially shape-shifters... like werewolves.

Just finished the game, and here our my thoughts

Story-The story is very simple, but also done well. It's a good game to play when one is down and need something to perk them up a bit. Also, glad you including the whole game scene in this. Some writers might've just skipped over it. You did a good job with that, and didn't make it lag.

Characters-The characters are amazing in this story. I loved all of them, even those that didn't have a sprite XD. I can't really decide who was my fav since all of them were great. Maiko was a great friend, and Bryce, though a jerk, was very romantic. Also the main girl, who I named Kagome, was very likable. Wasn't annoying at all, and I was always routing for her during the tough times

Writing-Writing was pretty good. Only saw a few errors, but nothing too bad. You did a fine job with keeping the character in personality to, and I've always found that a bit hard when writing.

Art-I really liked the art for this. PhoenixStardust did a really good job with making the guys look adorable. I'll admit that

Cerberus

was a bit off putting because he didn't go with the sprites too well, but he was fine in his own right. Also loved the background. They blended in with the character pretty well.

Music-Music was nice. Nothing too amazing, but it was nice to here and I always kept it on. Good job picking it out.

Overall-This was a very fun game to play. I enjoyed it, and really liked how you guys made it. The only thing I was a bit sad about was Maiko's ending. I feel like it wasn't as completed compared to Bryce. Besides that good job. I hope to see more games from both of you in the near future

Oh my, I'm so glad to hear that. Hahaha. Back in my days as a campus journalist, I'd always have problems with sport news because I couldn't depict game scenes well. Hahaha~ I'm happy you liked my writing too. <3 Sorry for the errors though, haha, I must have overlooked them. :3

Yay! Haha, thank you for liking the characters, art and personality-wise. And don't worry, I can't decide who my fave is too. Hahaha. But I love Bryce's best ending. Cerberus is a cutie, haha, but he's Pipoya's work so... yep, sorry if the art style didn't match.

Bryce was actually supposed to be like... Kagome's crush but unfortunately, my mind sorta changed itself halfway into the story. Haha. I'm really sorry for that.

Coincidentally, that happens to me a lot these days too, whenever I download VNs here. Haha. In this case, I guess it's just because it's a new download link and not many people have downloaded it yet, so Chrome is being extra careful?

Oops, sorry, I don't have a non-download version. If you open the "Downloads" page on Chrome though, you'll get the option to get the file back or something like that.

Or when all else fails, hahaha, you can simply download the "all" version of the game from itch.io. It's the biggest link up there. Lots of people have downloaded it already, so perhaps Chrome will go easy on it.

Still playing it, but so far, Maiko's SO sweet, he's my fav so far. His hair and ears reminds me a little of inuyasha and tomoe from kamisama kiss <3

Fun fact: I wanted to make Maiko a pure anthropomorphic wolf for the furry fans but Ran convinced me other wise. xD
