At Your Service: Writer/Proofreader [CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE]

#1 Post by baabaa »

Hi! My name is Michelle and although I'm fairly new to the Lemma Soft Forums, I thought I could help out some people by offering my services, as well as gain some new writing experiences.

As the topic title suggests, I'm offering my services as a writer and proofreader. Although I have never written for a visual novel or made one myself, I'm confident in my ability to adapt and learn. As a proofreader, I believe I'm thorough. I'm currently a high school student, so I don't necessarily have a degree or specific qualifications but if it'll ease the mind, I've been in Advanced English classes for the past two years and will be in the coming school year. I also speak English natively, and write in Australian/UK English. However, I can adapt to U.S. English.

I will be working for free on short projects, while I'd like to be paid for long-term and/or commercial projects. My rates for the latter are 5c per word for writing, and 0.025c per word for proofreading - both negotiable. Payments would also be through Paypal. However, essentially, I am in this for the experience so if your project really intrigues me, I may do long-term projects for free as well.

Here are four samples of my writing: If you'd like other samples or anything of the such, just say so.

I will not be taking on projects that require me to write sexual content. However, I am able to write leading up to. As for genres I write, I am willing to try anything and everything. However, if I don't think I can work on your project, I will let you know. A project may be turned down due to having a full plate, or simply a personal lack of interest.

Thank you for taking the time out to read this!

From one writer to another: "gun point" should be "gunpoint."

Welcome, Michelle!
I'm an aspiring writer and voice talent with a passion for literature and an unhealthy attachment to video games. I am also a seasoned typo-sniper. Inquiries are encouraged. Friendly chats are welcome.
