This may sound noobish but,
When I try to make an .exe of my game using Building Distribution I get this:

Just hit "Enter." The *.exe and everything will be in the newly-created directory.

Don't they mean an Installer?

Yeah, to create a .exe installer, first you need to progress through the dialog you posted (press Enter and click OK until the progress bar appears, then wait half an hour); then you need to use a third party installer creation program, such as NSIS.
