The voice acting in the trailer was top notch, heck, everything was. Really outstanding job.

Thanks! I hired her off a voiceover site which seems very handy for small, fast projects like advertising, but would probably be way too much hassle for a full length game voicing project. You put in what you're looking for and, quite quickly, a bunch of people flood in recording audition samples for you so you can pick the best fit.

I feel a little bad for them, though. Apparently the actors have to pay to maintain memberships on the site just to get the chance to audition, and then of course they do all the free samples to be considered, unlike artists who (reasonably!) will usually refuse to do free work just for an application. Seems like a tough gig. But I guess it works for them...

I'm experimenting with a different art set for this game - how this would probably work would be that there'd be an option in the preferences to let you toggle between them, unless one was so overwhelmingly preferred that we decided to sweep the other one under the rug. However, the downside to this is that having all the art done again means a long delay before we could be out of beta.
