Looking for a coder for several mini games [paid]

#1 Post by Dharker »

Hi, I am looking for someone to code a variety of basic minigames directly into renpy, I believe all of the following can be created using renpy standard codes via random numbers and such... Though some may need other parts. these will potentially be used in multiple games, and you will be credited in any they are used in.

1) Slot Machine - The game would ideally be a call screen, once called, the player would be able to choose what their bet amount is and then choose to start the slot machine. Then a random result appears based on the difficulty to win of the slot machine. And if the player wins at all, then they are paid out accordingly e.g. if they got 3 bars, they might get 10 times their bet etc. The game would have an exit button and their would be no rollback. The exit button would then hide the screen and return to the previous menu, or could be set as a way to leave the slots area.

2) Roulette - As above, the same principal only the player would be able to do multiple bets on different parts, but have a maximum limit, which could perhaps be set depending on the table stakes we set, so that potentially there are different tables with minimum and maximum bets. As before if the player wins it pays out and adds the amount to their cash variable and they can choose to exit the game at any time.

3) Other casino games would also be welcome additions.

4) electronic hacking - I want to add a minigame to the game that allows players within the game to buy electronic hacking devices. Which when used open a small minigame that the player has to complete to unlock the door or hack the device within the game. My suggestion is to include some kind of either match game or a pipe based game, with a time limit of some kind. If they fail their hacking device is destroyed, if they run out of devices then they cannot hack the lock and get a failed message instead and the game continues as if they failed jumping to wherever they should be if they fail... The game should have multiple difficulties based on difficulty of lock or security systems... Open to suggestions for different game ideas to use for hacking game.

These are paid jobs, if interest please either reply here, pm me or email me at adam@ajtilley.com with your thoughts on these, how long you expect it to take and what your cost would be for the work so that we can discuss the best way to proceed.

In addition to the above mini-games, I would also be interested in discussing the possibility of creating rpg style battle games, ship to ship sci fi combat and possibly even a match 3 style puzzle game to be used for magical battles dueling in a game.

Eager to chat with anyone who thinks they can help with one, several or even all of these.

Thank you.
