Only One Quick Save/Load File?

#1 Post by Yukari »

Is it possible to have only 1 quick save/load file?
So that it don't appear in the save/load menu and when you click Q.Load the file is loaded?

All you have to do is comment out the quick save/load button from the filepicker. It technically doesn't matter how many quicksave files there are, since quickload will only load the last one -- if there's no way to manually load an older quicksave, then you effectively have one quicksave slot.

When I click on the previous button the quick save/load menu still appears.

I never use the previous/next buttons so I hadn't thought of that. Honestly find them useless on the PC -- only way they'd be useful if I used a gamepad or something and not a mouse -- but in any case, if you really want, you can edit the renpy common files and modify the behavior of FilePagePrevious() and FilePageNext().
