As for me, I just found out that I can get disability payments from the state I live in by simply providing a doctor's sign off on my application. That'll help while I wait for the Federal-level disability application to go through. : )

Hmmm... My life's been a bundle of stress, sadness and anxiety the last two months, but I'm starting to feel a little more at peace. It's not a "shout for joy" per se, since I still haven't actually solved any of the problems, but I feel like I might be able to do it soon.

...So vague.

Oh! And stepped on the scale today (shielding my eyes because gOODNESS I've been pigging out lately) and I have not gained weight! Bwahaha, does that mean I can eat all this crap and still maintain? YES! Waffles for lunch!

Also! I finally completed the first draft of the common route in my VN. After I set word count goals per day I've become a lot more structured, and it's making me capable of writing even when I'm not inspired. Yay for productivity! I'm just gonna truck ahead and get all the routes done before I begin editing. It's likely I'll scrap a lot of it, but it feels great to have achieved this.

It is now the weekend and there are only two days left before I'm flying down to California for a few days with my mom. Bit of an early birthday present, and while I'll pretty much be spending Monday and most of Tuesday sitting in a hotel room, we'll be going to the Santa Monica Pier the second night and spending a whole day at Disneyland on the third. And I still have a handicap permit, so we'll get better parking and can even reserve times at certain rides, cutting the entire line. Boy oh boy will I be exhausted from all that walking. Still worth it though.

@Alte That's nice! I like going to the ocean with my family, we usually will have a picnic on the beach.

These days I felt I'm more appreciative towards my life and what I had. I hugged (more like clinging onto) my mom then my dad, even when I didn't tell them I love them, I kissed them on the cheek to show it. They just let me do it, even when I'm at this age lol
After that I'm really happy for no reason! Love does wonders I guess.

After eight hours of stress and waiting, my best friend is finally out of the hospital after having major surgery. The days leading up to this have been weighing on all of us, especially since his family has a violent intolerance to general anesthesia, almost leading to the death of his grandmother and dad.

He got out, and while obviously exhausted and disgruntled, he is fine! /happy dance
