The Last Wish by Andrej Sapkowski, ironically the first Witcher book.

I got all of the ROM series from the Trinity Blood light novels for a good price, so I'm reading them. They are worst than I remembered when I read the first two books, but they are still surprisingly engaging.
Artist and voice actor, trying to actually write stuff.

The Maze Runner lol. Late but heck it's not bad actually.
I dislike the ending though.

Story by Robert McKee,

I thought it would help me writing my visual novel :) I can't get through a page before my mind starts imagining things though haha.

Well, it's in audiobook form, so it's being read for me, but Death Comes to Pemberley by P.D. James. I haven't really read more than one or two contemporary takes on Austen (most entries in the field seem to mess up the characters for the sake of self-indulgent romance), but this book's been going well.

I told myself that I'm going to read To Set a Watchman soon enough. I have the book and read the first few pages. I had to read the first one for high school at one point too, and now me and my friends have nicknames with the characters. Some of the characters from the first one kind of remind me two characters in the visual novel I'm trying to write.

I ended up spoiling something for myself, though.
I really hope a certain character is still alive, though.

Kiss me First by Lottie Moggach, It didn't take me long to finish but I wasn't impressed with it after finishing the book, not quite sure why.

I have some books in my to-read pile at home, but I'm bumping To Set a Watchman at the top of my list once I get the chance to buy it!

I don't really read a whole lot of books. Not because I don't like them, but just because it takes quite a bit of time to read a whole book, and I get distracted easily >__> The last book I read was like a month or two ago, I read "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?" by Phillip K. Dick. It's the book Blade Runner was based on. I borrowed it from the local library, and it was already way overdue. I hadn't even started reading it yet, and then suddenly it was the day before I HAD to return it. So I pulled an all-nighter to read the whole book  Thankfully it wasn't that long. I really wanna read more stories in cyberpunk settings! I might try to make a VN in one at some point~

I've just finished the Castings trilogy by Pamela Freeman in english (I'm not a native). In France the publisher had given up on the serie and stopped publishing it (You only had one job, publisher, one!) so I finally bought it in english because IZFKZQdukyfhuqsfsui NEED.
Honestly it's very good, though there are some plot holes here and there, the originality and the backgrounds of the world and the characters are enough to make up for it. Excellent heroic-fantasy books.

Now I'll probably read Isaac Asimov's Foundation series.

So, from fantasy to science-fiction :D

Read tidbits of The Devil's Dictionary by Ambrose Bierce. Noah Webster was mentioned, sort of an obscure reference.

Thats actually a great book to pickup !

I Just finished reading the "A Wizard of Earthsea" by Ursula K. Le Guin for 2nd time ... It is far better than previous high-fantasy books I've read. Now I'm going to pickup the "Art of War" book By Sun Tzu for 3rd time !

A Wizard of Earthsea is pretty great. I just read it for the first time this year and it goes quickly. Also, I definitely feel like some of its DNA has made its way into the tropes of Western-style RPGs.
