MOTHER OF WATERS
A very short visual novel about a woman facing the unexpected consequences of a quick meal. The story takes place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and the supernatural elements are inspired by Brazilian folkloric legends.- About 15 minutes gameplay (for a single playthrough).
5 characters, you get to play as 2 of them as the story furthers.
5 different endings.
12 different backgrounds.
Warning:
This story (briefly) depicts graphic violence and some nudity. If you're not supposed to see those, then please don't.

Production notes:
This is my first finished game created with Ren'Py. It's a project I've been working on with a friend (who wrote the story) for a while now, with long periods of inactivity. One of my goals with this was to showcase my work as a game artist, so I didn't want to spare efforts on that front. Turns out it was a lot of work for a rather short experience for the player in the end. Still proud of it, though.
I'll appreciate feedback concerning the game but specially tips on this release itself.
Last but not least: a huge THANK YOU to the people in this Forum. Not being a programmer, I was only able to finish this with the generous contributions of many members regarding my questions.
