I'm thinking about making a game...

It's going to be a simple RPG, most likely made in HTML or something. Like I said, it's going to be very simple, but should be easy to run and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas or comments to tell me before I actually commit to something.

An RPG in HTML? I don't think I've seen one of those before. Are there any on the web you know of?

Not really. A lot of them are done in PHP, I know of one that's done in CGI. The premise for this game (I should really call it a mini-game) is that it's a single-level dungeon with a boss character at the end. Starting small seems like the best idea.

I've seen a few. LadyStar used to be an HTML-based adventure RPG, and there's a half-translated Japanese one somewhere. The format actually works quite well, potentially. It tends to need JavaScript or some such to preserve state, but it can be done well.
