TMNT dating game! ^_^ [First Post Edited]

#1 Post by Starzie »

Yes you read that right, a TMNT /dating/ game! XP XD

Last Updated: Jan 27, 2008

First a little bit about the game:

Title: TMNT - Fateful Encounter
Rating:PG-13 (subject to change)
Summary: You were just making your way through life when Fate decided to blindside you. Caught up in something much bigger than yourself, all you can do is relay on four not so normal guys to pull you through it.
  • Project Scene Count: 300-400
    Current Planned Scene Count: 248
    Current Written Scenes: 33

    Current Release: Demo v0.1
I'm really looking for some people who wouldn't mind testing the game for bugs, and continuity problems. Or my silly spelling mistakes I start to overlook after staring at it for so long. x_x And if anyone's interested, I wouldn't mind someone to help me write the scenes. I have them planned out in detail already, it's just actually taking it and writing it out that's taking me time.

i must admit my shameful secret...

... I used to sleep with a plush Leonardo.

(Anyway, I'll look at it sometime but at the moment I can't rapidshare. If it's small you could always upload it here as an attachment...)

I must say that's quite an interesting project you have going, I'm not that surprised someone would make an attempt at it though. There are still plenty of fans out there. My friend still has a room full of TMNT toys >.>...and he's in college. Eight endings sounds like a lot, did you plan it to be a short script or are you really shooting for a huge story?

Who needs pants in this day and age o.o I mean how many people actually want to wear them? I think they are just the first step to total pants less super heroes. Superman can retire his tights and opt to be free. Wow actually that's a scary way to view the kids shows of today...

I tried this a little bit and it's well written and well presented, really :). I don't think I'm the target audience for it but I can appreciate the overall quality ^^

ah, the Heroes in a Half shell (turtle power!)

Once I've given it a go, I'll give you a detailed view of what I felt was good and bad....is it scary that I remember most of the intro to the cartoon still...but haven't seen the show in years? :)

The reason it's so big is because I like giving people choices. ^_^ In real life you get lots of choices, so I tried to reflect that a little. It's not a crazy you get a choice every other paragraph, but I like putting them in there.

As for making it huge, I've reached a point in the game I may end it, actually, and release a sequal once this one is done. Just to limit how big it is, and it's a good turning point so I can get away with it

That's really weird, and why I don't care for rapidshare much, but I don't think a 9mb file can be attached here.

...Or can it? @_@

Try clearing your internet files and see if it'll work then. (Tools>Options>Delete Files...)

Thanks, that means a lot, because I've gotten only a little feed back so far. I've had a lot of fun with it so far.

I have the same problem frequently, and I'm pretty sure I know why - I'm on NTL, who put all of the web traffic from the subnet I'm on through a single proxy. Those file-load sites which tell me the IP I'm downloading from nearly always report the web-proxy's IP rather than mine, so it's not me who's reached my limit, it's the whole of the greater Peterborough area. And when places as far abroad as Norwich are on the Peterborough NTL subnet, this explains quite readily why I can barely ever download anything from Rapidshare... ;-)

Megaupload seem to be a lot better, but I'm wary of the lot of them, to be honest...

well, they are primarily trying to make money off unlegal filesharing, which makes me rather cranky with the lot of them...
