Welcome to my art thread!


I made this so I could have a reference to link people to for convenience's sake in the event that I want to join a project or something like that. I also wanted to get some new eyes on my work!

I am 100% open to constructive criticism (redlining/paint-overs are very much appreciated ) - unless stated otherwise - and my main goal as an artist is to improve!!

Ooh, cute art! I particularly like your use of bright colors in some of the pictures, and also the texture on the "Welcome to Hell" piece. The Breloom is my favorite drawing though, it looks adorable even if I usually dislike Breloom.

Thank you very much! I feel like both textures and bright colors bring a lot of life to the piece, so I try to incorporate them often. ^^ The Breloom drawing is also one of my favorites! Honestly, I only grew to like Breloom because it was one of my mains in Alpha Sapphire.

Actually, I'd love to! (I've never collaborated with anyone before >>) I'm not super busy right now, so it's not a problem. Although, I want to finish the piece I'm working on first. (I'll probably be done in 1-2 days assuming I don't slack off.)

I was thinking about drawing something similar to a photo of an environment or inside houses in my style (chibi style to me)~ something like a photo study 8D so, will you like to join me? each one of us will choose one photo (or object) each week and we both try to finish it within it~ if you didn't like this idea we can do a simple collab!

Yeah! I like that idea! Each week we could also have a different theme or something like that, so we can narrow down the selections. (ie. plants, coffee shop)

We take three points if we finished doing a complete bg~ (with nice lines, and finished coloring. Or even lineless but it have to be finished)
We take two for doing a sketchy lines and coloring~
We take one for doing sketchy lines alone~
We take minus one for doing nothing XD

Who collects a certain number wins (I thought one hundred but you might want another number? not sure if we should add prizes?? O.O the loser draw for the winner something?? Lol //though I can't draw human or animal I can only draw pixel food or another background xD)

I like the idea of it being a competition, it gives more incentive to actually finish what you were working on each week. xD I think we could just take turns picking themes or put a bunch of themes in a randomized generator and have it pick one for us. I say this because we might tie for some weeks, so there will be no winner.

I think 100 might be too large, it would take 34 weeks at least to get to 100! We could just increase the points for each one of the categories though. As for prizes, I think the loser drawing something for the winner is fine. (IDK what else we could do.) But, what if we tie?

Also, we're gonna create a new thread for this right? It would be weird to put it here. xD
