If you go to the separate course (the link provided was for the specialization consisting of several courses, here's the first one I believe https://www.coursera.org/learn/game-design) you'll have an option to register without the certificate and it's free - I wonder if there're other differences except the certificate (and I believe you can pay afterwards if you want to get it?) but all videos and other materials are available to free users.

You missing the point, the so call "Story and Narrative Development for Video Games" is basic high school writing. You already learn this, you should've listened to your teachers when they said everything you will learn can be helpful.Rinima wrote:@Morhighan
Just out of interest, what sort of things can we expect from this course? Other than the basics of what they've layed out, and is it enough content to justify £60?
@everyone else
Please, try not to feed the troll. You know who I'm talking about.

@Windchimes -
You can take it for free if you search for it in the Coursera search bar or follow the link Anne posted. But financial aid is SUPER easy to get.

What are the mentors like to work with? Do they use one general catch-all learning style, or adapt based around how much you already know or don't know?

@Anne and Morhighan:
Ohh! Thank you, I found it now! I'm probably going to give a couple of the courses a try in a few weeks when I'm less busy with school

This is something I'd also like to know, would they say, adapt their mentoring for someone with a learning disability for example?Caveat Lector wrote:What are the mentors like to work with?
