Down on her luck after being dropped by her agency, Dawn finds herself being shaken awake at a bar back in her hometown.
"Should I call someone to come pick you up?"
There are only two people's phone numbers she knows off by heart, and she suspects that neither of them are particularly eager to speak to her at the moment.
Last Call is a visual novel about repairing broken relationships, and letting go of regrets.
Play as Dawn, and try to help her reconcile with the people most important to her -- or have them walk out of her life permanently.
This game will have 2+ routes, and 2+ endings per route.
The goal is for this to be a short game, where a single playthrough will take about 10 minutes.

I love the premise of this game! It seems like it'll be a unique and cool experience. Also, I love the art style. ^_^
Thanks so much! This game will probably be really different from our last game, so maaaybe it's better that you haven't played it? Not sure what you'd expect, haha.
I'm happy to hear that you like the art style since it's so unlike my usual drawings! We're definitely using this project as a chance to be a little more experimental.
SLAMS MUG DOWN I'M HERE FOR THIS
I LOVE the premise, especially the idea of facing people from your past. Estrangement is such an interesting topic to focus on, and this just looks really promising. Also, real props for such a different art style compared to your other projects; it makes it stand out both compared to other projects in general and amongst your projects. It's really cute and neat, too!
I'm really keeping my eyes on this. //backs away slowly into the trashcan

Ooh, you're back this year! I'm glad! When will you release Happy Valley High though D|
I'm so happy to see another game from you guys especially when the concept sounds so nice and the art is just so cute.
I just can't wait to see its release!
Oh, I really like the sound of that. I love stories about friendship, and stories about broken/repaired friendship seem to be uncommonly rare. I'll definitely be looking forward to playing this.

This is really well scoped, which is one of the hardest part about making games. Congrats you guys have a well planned game! Nice art style, and a story that's interesting. We're looking forward to playing it!
Hypeee! Totally will play this when it's finished <3 Looking forward to the development updates as well!
Love the plot already, it'll be interesting to see how the relationships can be repaired.
Good luck!
@Ghost of Crux: Thank you!! I figured I might as well use NaNo to mess about and be fairly non-committal... Let's hope it all works out fine lmao @potouto: Thanks! Good to see you again! Happy Valley High... Laughs into the void... I'll drag it out into the light of day if I have to kill a man to do it though, I've spent too long on it lmao @Hazel: Thank you! I'm really fond of stories that focus more on friendship myself, too. @M0ti: Thanks a lot! @LokenTotem: Haha, thanks! I try my best to be realistic about scope. Hopefully this means we'll manage to make it by the end of the month, fingers crossed. @YuukiCrossPudding: Thank you! I'll cling on to everyone's good luck like a raft as I sink in the sea that is NaNo. @Mama J: Thanks so much!
Thanks again for everyone's interest!! ヽ(;▽;)ノ

With most things planned out, we've started on the writing.
As the common route is simple and quick, that's done, and SweetStrawberry and I will be writing a route each, same as last year.
I've also started working on the sprites, so there's something to show! Here's a preview:
