Also on the Accusation Puzzle:
It isn't a group of three. I tried every combo. I also thought it was for sure a team of three because of the triangle motif and manticore. I also tried all of them, it wasn't a group of three.

I figured that each of the other team members represented the seven deadly sins (excluding yourself and Actor dude). Therefore the killers would be Envy (snake), Wrath/madness (Lion), Hubris (goat). Though now I think there is probably another - the announcer, the goat, the actor dude, and the lion.

I figured Pierce is either lust or sloth - he blatantly just sits down while you do the work or tries coming onto you.

I'm pretty certain that Lucky is Envy or Wrath (since I can't help but think he is the lion)

Steve might be lust - given the porn videos. He could also be wrath, he was angry at the start.

I'm also pretty sure Bart is Hubris, with his attitude. Though Hubris might also be Earl who believed he could solo this.

Kang I think it gluttony - he is the only repeat contestant and mentions tons about how often he does things. His dating profile also makes him the least picky.
Now that I know all the puzzles leading up to it, I'm going to play through each character I can. There are probably more clues in each. I think the dating profiles and the seven deadly sins are the key.

I'm wondering of who it is.....
what if it's different people each playthrough depending on your past dialogue choices to keep things fresh for replayable value or like all the characters' you choose to partner with in each puzzle is automatically innocent. they would free some things OR what if all the ones you choose ARE the murderers o-o

First off wold like to say good job the game is definitely worth the 7 bucks. Thought next I'd recommend a bit more sex scenes, more drama, more backstory and a bit more opinions to help round things out, would definilty pay more for this type of game but with more choices/interactions/sex/etc.

So if this was a prototype you guys were wanting to test out to see how people responded, then you got my vote.

Having said that how ever there are issues that need to be addressed.

The puzzles:
while they were most were straight forward for me, I feel you need to have a limit to the number of tries a player does and after about 5 tires you should either drop more hints or have the partner auto-solve it for you, but the look unfavorably towards you.

The overall story wasn't bad, I just wish there was more interaction going on between each of the characters, if possible.

The Sex scenes, Kinda of weird that you only do 2 people in this game, but I guess this was more of a mystery then a sex game, oh well.

Finally the ending,
Unfortunately while I'd like to say I played it through I was unable to figure out who done it. Again you kinda of need to be more obvious with the clues or have Adam run through everything and check off all the possibilities, because I literally ran all combinations for 2 people with the accusation and I still got a game over aka I died, so yeah you kinda of dropped the ball on that one....

Overall I would give this game a solid B.
Price: A+ (Felt like the right price for a short 2-3 hour game)
Story (Characters, Plots, Sex, Etc): B
Puzzles (Unfortunately due to the issues with the last puzzle, aka the accusation, this is what I feel hurt it the most): C-

About last puzzle:
It's 3 people. Least you would expect. At the end they explain everything. I liked it!

Last Test Spoiler
Yeah I just double checked my list of attempted trios and of course its one of the two possibilities I somehow missed.

Hey guys, wow I didn't expect ppl would've powered through LMA in a day or so! However I'm basing that on how I play VN's. I play 30mins a day so I'll typically finish a VN in a week or so. But you guys are hardcore, I love it!

Anyways, some really good discussions and ideas here particularly about changing killers dependent on game choices, clues given after X amount of failures, and more (nice ones from Wylde) which I'll address in an upcoming post. :)

For now I'll talk about the accusation part of the game. Ok so I see some have difficulty guessing the culprit(s). Even 1 out of my 3 QA expressed not getting enough clues to the identity. (To which I went back and sprinkled some more in lol).

The thing is I found it highly unrealistic for the killer(s) to say incriminating stuff or doing overtly suspicious actions to give their position away. Heck, in 999 you had to die a shit ton of times before you could start piecing it together. Even when you eventually figure out its
Ace (killing internally) you still aren't entirely sure it's him until you accuse him 3x and he gets the crazy eyes! Lmao. Amazing!
So if you're looking for hints my advice is read carefully, it's subtle, change of expressions, casual mentions spoken oddly or the statement was odd, imagery and symbols, descriptive terms used by the narrator to describe characters and the Swoled Profiles (holy geez pay attention to those! Heh). The hints hit subconsciously not directly.

Anyways these are the hints:
- there are 3 villains. This is reinforced constantly through symbolism. The triangle everywhere, the chimera made of 3 animals 1 of which we see as Goatman.

-lucky blatantly has a 3 on his shirt and his build matches TheLion.

-the lion being the embodiment of wrath. Lucky states early on that he hates WeHo. (And all that it represents)

-Lucky mentions that his 2 best friends live in LA. He states later that he wants to work on a masterpiece the world will remember (turns out its the murder of those at Escape Mansion WeHo) and that it's good to be with like-minded people...while standing beside Earl and Vince.

-if you spend time with lucky you'll notice he's always wondering what it is about adam that is so special. But read into it carefully...it's not a compliment. He literally cannot get it, he obsesses over it as you see he wants to possess it for himself.

-it was Vince's idea to signup for the escape room in the 1st place. Very convenient. Also his build matches The Goat.

- if you have Vince take earl into a puzzle room, he attends to him affectionately. If anyone else he is unmoved.

- he tells a backstory explaining why he doesn't speak. Cause no one likes what they hear when he talks. Silence is just incriminating. lol

- Vince has a gold necklace peeking underneath his shirt.

- Earl has triangles on the collar of his.

- earl will always go from smiling to a cold stare when adam speaks about something narcissistic. Earl also only really treats lucky and Vince particularly kindly.

- earl is the only one who is described by the narrator on several occasions as "dripping venom" when he speaks (snake).

- "Earls corpse" is missing the valuable watch. And why remove earls face unless it was misdirection?

- you'll notice the 3 of them having a "serious looking" convo that adam is unsure he should interrupt. Once he does and asks what they are discussing, they blow it off by saying "Oh nothing". They also spend a lot of time as a trio initially.

- when adam asks Earl if he wants to be famous, he states he'd rather be infamous. To which the statement is lost on adam but Vince and Lucky are pleased with the statement

- ever heard of "One of these things is not like the other"? The trio are the ONLY ones whose Swoled profiles don't contain physicality requirements. Normally that would make them the good ones, but the killer is punishing vanity.
Anyways those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head. In future I'd plan to add more direct hints. It's been a learning experience :)

@illuminate001 Thanks for the explanation! I started to notice the smaller things once I kept replaying the game and it all starts to make sense now. Also, there may be more but
are there any other romance/love scenes other than the one Pierce and one Bart scene. Not including the bad ending scenes with Earl and Vince.
Question, though. How do you get the perfect and to be continued endings? I got the good, the bad, and the ok but the other ones eluded me. This question is for anyone of you awesome peeps out there. Any help is appreciated! :D :D

Very unique and interesting game... and one that appealed perfectly to me! Definitely worth the price tag. Interesting themes and unique characters made my playthrough(s) very enjoyable, and I can't wait to see more in this vein of, as you put it, 'erotic bara thrillers.' ;)

I will admit the narrative could have been stronger, although I appreciate the genuine underlying message, which I'm glad to say I caught on to pretty early on. The tone of the game is great, but I would have loved to get to know some of the character a little better. Nothing tugs at the heartstrings like getting to know a character personally, only to have them die a slow, painful, agonizing death. When it comes to Adam, I actually found or protag extremely unlikable, but as the game proceeded, I didn't really have a problem with hating him... and by the time the finale rolled around, that ended on a great note.

The Artwork/Design: Great artwork all around, but I was a little caught off guard by the extreme stylistic differences between the sprite art and the CGs. The more realistic, soft-shaded sprites clashed with the sharp black outlines and cel shading of the CG work. I am always a fan of multiple styles in a VN, but when the styles or too different, it can be a little jarring. Even in the CGs, some just looked like a higher quality than others. It didn't bother me too much, just something to keep in mind for next time! Loved the UI, but I would have liked a CG gallery. Even though there aren't too many, I would have enjoyed going back to see them all.

The Puzzles: A great inclusion of puzzles, and some very interesting problem solving. Each puzzle was unique, though I struggled a lot with the Light Room, because my monitor is messed up and doesn't show colours properly. That said, none of the puzzles were too extreme in difficulty, but by the time I finished the Light Room and jumped into the Dining Room, I was already pretty burned out. I haven't played many VNs with serious puzzle elements, though... so this was a welcomed changed of pace!

The Sex: I would have loved a bit more... I know the setting isn't exactly the most opportune, but considering the theme, I wouldn't object. We got a glimpse right out of the gate, which made me think it was going to be more prevalent, but then it didn't really resurface until
the bad end... a scene which I, a disgusting monster, really enjoyed... but I imagine most people might not have.
. More sex scenes and variations would have been awesome!

The Gore: Great, for the little taste we get... but, ok, maybe I'm just greedy... more please! I would have loved an all-out splatter fest! There are some really great gory moment, but I would have been thrilled to catch glimpses of
bodies we didn't really get to see, like Steve, Pierce, or maybe the burned up corpses at the very end.
The Thrills/Chills: This game did get my heart racing... I was always excited to find out what was about to happen, and never really had any predictions about who was going to be next. The tense moments are definitely tense!

The Choices: One of my biggest frustrations with the game is the inability we have to go back and save some of the characters. I know it would take a lot of work, but it would have been amazing if we had the option to somehow
rescue Lars, Kang, Pierce, Steve, etc. before their otherwise inevitable demise.
That said, it is interesting how the choices seem small, but can have a big outcome on the finale.

The Outcome: Outcome was certainly unique. I started catching on pretty quickly, but I definitely wasn't sure where it was going to end.
I predicted Lucky and Vince, but never would have placed Earl... I thought it was going to be Kang!
I liked the message, but I'm not sure the medium is really appropriate for it...
the game is about racial/social prejudice in the gay community, but then our killers turn out to be members of those minorities themselves? what does that say about the minority communities as a whole?
That said, once the good ending is reached, I was pleasantly surprised by the final takeaway. The ending really did have a positive impact on me, as an interracial, non-conforming, bisexual man.
It was interesting to see Adam heading to Portland, the place I grew up, and to see him as a changed person. I would love to catch an even greater glimpse of Adam's future once he settles down in the Rose City, and begins exploring aspects of the community beyond the conventional white muscle gays.
Overall, I really enjoyed Let's Meat Adam. I will definitely be recommending it to some of my friends, who enjoy some of the similar themes that I do. It was a unique adventure with a poignant message, although it stumbled a little along the way. I finished the full game in about 5 hours, which was perfect for the price, and I can't wait to see more from Soulsoft.

Oh, and if anyone knows how to get the 'Perfect' ending, please shoot me a line! ;)

SexBomb, I got the message this way:
When anti-racism comes to its extreme, it becomes racism itself. And I agree.

So I got the good end! I'm not sure how to get the perfect end, though, so any help would be great! ^^
I think the whole racism thing was done really well. There were a lot of subtle hints toward it (like Adam saying Earl looked old for an Asian guy...I think that's what he said lol or something along those lines) to being really blatant, like Pierce calling Vince Mexican even though he's not. But it's true as well, not just in the gay community, but in society as a whole, we tend to like pretty white people more so than POC or someone with a bigger or smaller (and not muscular) body type
I still have some playing to do, because I want to get all the endings, but I really liked the good ending ^^
It did bother me, however, that we didn't get to save Bart. I would've thought that Earl would have let him go because Bart managed to touch him earlier (pun intended) and didn't kill him when he had the chance, so I felt really bad about that. Especially because Bart was pretty much the only good guy there and was condemned only because of his preferences, and not because he was an asshole
I do agree with some of the others; I wish there had been more sex scenes! Especially with
Viiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiince, though I don't think there's one with him 'cause he's in love with Earl, but maybe there is and I haven't found it yet? But I highly doubt that's the case
I mean, more sex scenes wouldn't make or break the game for me, it's just a personal preference lol

Also:
VINCE NO. WHY. HE WAS MY FAVORITE FROM THE VERY BEGINNING, EVEN AFTER I ADOPTED LUCKY AND THEN CONSEQUENTLY UN-ADOPTED HIM WHEN HE REVEALED HIMSELF AS A PSYCHO. I JUST. I'M SO UPSET. I think the biggest thing that upset me about Vince was that he was in love with Earl and not Adam lol not even the fact that he's a psycho murderer

Hey, everybody! Happy Friday.Jr (Thursday),

Ok, so I will be getting to all your individual comments asap, after work stops kicking my ass (you guys rock...my world lol) :D

But quickly, I wanted to address something really important! I was noticing a high number of people saying they can't achieve the Perfect Ending and I went back and found a bug in the code that has an exceptionally high chance of failing players from getting the best end. I've uploaded a fixed version of LMA on our itch.io page.

UPDATE May.4/17: A new version of Let’s MEAT Adam has been updated today to address a bug that prevents some players from achieving the Perfect Ending. This has now been fixed and all patrons who’ve downloaded the Full Game should have access to the fixed version. Sincerest apologies! If you have purchased the game but are having problems downloading the update please contact directly at soulsoftea@gmail.com.

**NOTE: If you replace your previous version, unfortunately (and most likely) your old saves will no longer work. You may want to try to delete "LetsMEATAdam\game\saves\persistent" but it's doubtful that will help. You may need to run the game from the start but use Skip Messages All/Seen to blow past dialog you've already seen.

Also, if you're curious how to achieve the Perfect End (which should satiate a few people...especially RiverBluesBear lol) here it is:
- Choose Bart as your partner for The White Room. When confronted by him Be Apologetic.
- Don't sleep with Pierce
- Choose Bart as your partner but leave Pierce.
- In the Slaughter Room Grab Bart's Arm (sleep with Bart)
And there you have it! :)
