Hehe resurrecting this thread :D

Since last year, june 26th to be exact, a new vocaloid was born: Gumi, from Megumi Nakajima voice (Ranka Lee in Macross Frontier).
Several months after, a fan made a PV featuring Gumi in... a song sung by Megumi XD

Here's the movie. (Kira!)

And an additionnal one I'm listening for days and days.

I love Gumi! <3

She's my favourite, I think she sounds a lot more natural than all the other ones (and doesn't have a chipmunk voice...).
I didn't like the original image for her, but I think the fan art people have been drawing of her really show how cute she can be. :3

Did you see this one? I find it so relaxing. ;_;

*is still a hardcore Meiko fan*

Hehe I tried to make Gumi sing a little, on a tune from one of my favourite band.

Here.

I think vocaloid is stupid myself, but really like the look of the characters, especially Miku ^^

@Mirielle I don't think that Miku will be putting anyone out of work too soon. It is cheaper to buy a Vocaloid than hire a singer though.

Anyone out buying one should look into Luka/Ruka Megurine as it does English and Japanese well and has IMHO better quality than Miku.
I still like Miku more though.

Ahh I adore Vocaloid. I prefer Luka more than Miku though she is still a top favorite. I just love listening to their songs on youtube. They usually make me cry though ;- ;

I have a flute version of JBF too ;D
Yeah a lot of those, but those would just be touching the surface of all the songs I listened to.

Argh! I imported the project diva 1 UMD, and it took AGES to arrive... now I'm wary of the chances of getting the second anytime before there's a PSP2, or a WW3, whatever happens first.

WW3 I'd say.

Ah, Vocaloid. I love the twins/mirrors, personally. Hearing Rin sing Kokoro makes me sob.
