Hello, I’m Angela! I’ve been creating backgrounds for visual novels and animated short films for around 3 years now, and I’m looking for paid work.
My style is flexible, but my specialties are richly painted locations with moody color schemes. I have a degree in animation, so I can provide more complex background assets as well (e.g. overlays/underlays, assets for motion graphics and simple animated background effects, etc.).

Pricing varies depending on level of detail, stylization, and amount of hard surface objects (e.g. buildings, furniture) in perspective.
Edit(9/27): The rates below are estimates for indie projects. For larger commercial projects, my asking rate is an additional 25%. I'm open to negotiating prices depending on your project size and budget, so please don't hesitate to ask!
Very simple: $20
Simple and/or stylized: $60
Standard or detailed stylized: $120
Highly detailed: $160
Additional lighting variation: $20

Photo (or 3D render) Paintover: $70 SAMPLE
Includes photo extention, color adjustment, repainting, adding/removing details.
Note: Please make sure you have the rights/permissions to the original material or for it to be edited. I do not want to be involved in art theft, please! AHH. ;A; I prefer to work with photos taken by someone related to the project if possible.
Character illustration/sprites: See my tumblr page for details. These are painterly, and I like designing outfits as well.
Proofing/editing: I have work experience as website/technical editor, and I’ve done a lot of creative writing as a film student haha. I can also help troubleshoot coding!
