Social Media/Marketing Strategist

A position is now open for a social media/marketing strategist for the sci-fi bl/yaoi game Synthetic Lover, a visual novel with elements of adventure, romance, suspense and drama. The candidate selected will be in charge of compiling a social media strategy for the game and helping with marketing, as well as writing copy for the posts and making updates on the social media channels. The project is currently self funded with a plan to run a KS campaign.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Come up with a strategy for social media channels and build a following
- Write copy for social media/marketing/KS
- Make updates on twitter, tumblr, facebook, instagram, lemma
- Community interaction with subscribers, devs etc
- Working together with the rest of the team come up with a strategy the KS campaign and the posts to update with during the campaign
- Reach out to the community and locate places to have the game reviewed and promoted
- Work with a graphic designer to come up with effective promo content
- Help the project lead with marketing ideas

Requirements:

- have experience with social media/marketing management for games/visual novels
- be passionate about vns
- be willing to promote bl/yaoi content
- be available 3/nights week, and one of the days on the weekend to do the social media management
- have a positive attitude, be friendly and professional
- have good writing skills in English
- if you're hired, you will need to have Discord installed and join our game dev server
- be 18+

Bonus points if you have run a successful KS campaign and/or love the bl/yaoi genre.
