I'm having trouble with a animated I made into a small movie. Whenever I run the game it doesn't actually play the movie. There's no error log, but I don't know what's going on.
define e = Character("Eileen")
image eileen movie = Movie(channel="eileen", play="flames.mp4", image="city-alt.png")
label start:
show eileen movie
e "You've created a new Ren'Py game."
e "Once you add a story, pictures, and music, you can release it to the world!"

I created the animation using PNG to keep the transparency. Then I moved it into Photoshop where I rendered a video from many layers (no, not the Photoshop version that has sound). So I imported the video into MovieMaker and added a sound clip that was empty. It should have an audio channel now. I'm not sure what's going on with it. I still have the video that I rendered outside of MovieMaker could it be that it's not supported?
I looked into WEBM and found VLC has a way to convert them into OGG< MP$, and WEMB. However, the only one that worked for me was the OGG. The WEBM would crash renpy and the MP4 wouldn't show up. Weird right?
