My name means.... nothing. At least it's not supposed to <_<;; It's a name of a sub-character in a story that I wrote when I was kid. It has just ended up as my username since the day I met the internet.... (Well, originally I used for the high-score tables in computer games, but when I had to write a name on the internet later, I just continued to use it :P)

Cybeat is just a name I thought of. It can also be "cyber beat", a type of hip-hop music I created. Kinda sounds like nothing but nonsense.

I don't think my name have any meanings.
This is the title of one of my early "serious" title, my first attempt on making "horror-mystery" manga.

OH, and it has no reference to (like one of my co-worker thought) something that you-know-who, right? I'm a good person with a good religion ^_^

musical74 has a couple meanings....

when I was searching for a nickname for chatting back in 1999 I was trying to think of something, anything, that could be called *me*...musical fits best. I'm a baritone-bass singer, I'm been in a few musicals, and I LOVE to sing, more so when depressed; the 74 was just birth year...:)

Well...hm...I'm a big fan of dragons but it's rather hard to find screen names for forums/sites/etc. especially the popular ones, with an avaliable name with that in it. So instead, I went with wyvern as a viable substitute. (Usually followed by the wonderful question: What's a wyvern?). The bloody is just sort of tacked on really...

Anyway, it just stuck and seemed to be avaliable everywhere I signed up so it was a rather useful name to keep using. Uniqueness is fun.

The name was coined as a profile name for the times I played Halo with my buddies. It's revenge to the third power, based on the philosophy that for every time I was killed I wanted to take out at least three opponents.

My handle name comes from X-Men vs. Street Fighter, in one of the stages.
Korina Sanchez: Ex-sensei Mel, we've met again.
Mel Tiangco: I'm expecting this from my former student.
Korina Sanchez: I know all along the reason for your presence.
Mel Tiangco: Of course. Your hairbrush.
Korina Sanchez: Snatch it again? Well, you're mistaken. It's because my hairbrush's container is packed with security features. What's your say?
Mel Tiangco: If you can do security... (pause) then 120% of my strength will shatter it!

Hm, well, my name is the joint of Ridley and Wright, lol. The story is that Ridley was my first nick when I set "foot" on the internet, and after some years I thought it was just too common and I joined Wright to it...

Completely non original nick, I know.

Deji is the shortened form of "Dejiko".
I used to love DiGi Charact when i started chatting and posting in oekaki boards, so I named myself "Dejiko-chan". One of my friends was lazy to type "Dejiko-chan" every time, so she shortened it a bit to "Dejichan" or just "Deji".

Py - for Python, a language I was (and still am) very interested in.
Tom - my first name.

Okay, that's boring. Let's go into the names of the various characters I created.

Eileen and Lucy were first created for a game in which angel and devil characters came to live with the player, posing as transfer students:

- Eileen is apparently Irish for Light. I have some Irish ancestry (3/8ths, the largest single share), and I had been listening to The Irish Volunteer when I created her, and so it was an obvious choice. (If she was Japanese, she'd be Hikari or Akari.)

- Lucy is short for Lucifer (which also means light-bringer, but that wasn't the connotation I was going for).

To come up with the character name for Moonlight Walks, I looked through records from the (1790?) census for, IIRC, the outer banks. Mary was one of the few names of female heads of household. IIRC, Harper was the name of a different family, but it seemed like a decent one. There's something of a Pern reference there as well, but it wasn't a major consideration.

Is it okay to put in the characters name I made?
LoL,
Well, since it's about names, I'll put it in!

Leon is my doggie's name and a character from tales series at console.
Ian has no particular meaning tough, I just like it.
Gil is the name of the currency in some games, haha.
And one more will be added after the game releases.

...That proves I'm a game-freak!

Character names too?

You guys are all gonna laugh at me. XD

So for Ripples, Kuu is a shortened version of "cookie" because she bakes. And Koda is a shortened version of "Kodak" because he's a photographer. O_<

For Forget me Not, the lead is named Ever because I was listening to the song "Ever the Same" when I needed a name for him. Although it's never mentioned in the game, the girl's name is Fleur, because she looks like a flower.

I won't say where the names from my in progress game are from because that would be mildly spoilerish. >_>
