Don't forget to post it on http://happypenguin.org/ that's where a lot of Linux users go to find games for their platform. I had a lot of hits come from that site when I advertised my game there. You might even make a few sales too!

I'm downloading it now to try it out!

It tool a while, but I see that it's up there now. So, how did you find the game? Or have you had a chance to play it?

I liked the character art the most, except for the angular styled inking that gives sharp edges to what should be a curvy arm (or other body part). Easily forgiveable seeing as the characters look great. When the artwork is good I always have the same complaint: not enough sprites!!! Especially for the twins. It kinda bugs me that both twins have the same exact art except for the hair color. But again, this is not a major issue and didn't detract me from the game.

This type of game isn't what I'm into, but I did play it out to the end of the demo. I thought the dialog and subject matter was a little bland for my taste, but that might be more a question of taste than anything else. Perhaps I'm accustomed to stories with more hooks and plot twists along the way.

The swimming pool scene is cool, a little tension there is good to build suspense. Having you fall into the pool is a nice touch and gives a sense of action to what is otherwise a more conversation driven story.

So if I had to change something it would be to build a little tension with hard choices the character would face. I'd make him set a date with one, then get another hot girl to propose a take it or leave it date that same night, where you'd be incapable of contacting the other girl to cancel, or you would miss your chance with this latest hot girl. That way you'd put lust vs. responsibility and get a good scene to pour guilt on the character for not showing up and seeing this other girl devastated. I think hard choices like that would be more of a hook to drive the story along.

My two cents!

Unfortunately most of the plot twists and such are in the full version. I suppose (for sales purposes) I should have tried to get more of those into the demo, and will have to look at doing so for my next games.

Appreciate the comments, and am glad the game at least proved to be a reasonable diversion for your time :D

It's an interview:

Not much there that folks who read the WIP thread for the game wouldn't know, but figure that at least I managed to get in a plug for RenPy :D

While I created the script and did the programming and backgrounds, Tycoon Games provided the character art and had the distribution rights. So even if I could find an old copy I'm not sure I'd be allowed to give it to you. Sorry :-(

I have a copy of College Romance - Rise of the Little Brother. for Windows. Just to confirm I'm talking about the right game: there are twins, Jules and Jessica, right?
I got it in 2015 from Winter Wolves website, but I think it is no longer there.

However, according to my end user agreement:
"4. Program Transfer. You may permanently transfer all of your rights under this License Agreement, provided the recipient agrees to the terms of this License Agreement and you agree to remove the Program from your home, business, or portable computer."

I have all the necessary files to run it, although at the moment I can't find the original install file.
So if you want, I'll transfer mine to you if we can organise some way to do it.

Also you could check out BMT Micro, but the price seems very high.
