Pre-demo tips anyone? (please help)
I'm coming out with a demo next month on the 22nd and I want to know how to know if I'm ready to post it to the public. What else should I do before posting it? Is my following big enough? Is there something I'm missing like a website or forum to get more people to play it? I'd appreciate any advice anyone can give me about preparing to release a demo. Please please please I really do need tips on how to do this.

That's all up to you, really. You get to decide what's in the demo and you're not required to establish a forum or anything like that either really. I guess if you wanted you could create a discord channel dedicated to it and let people know about it on your demo page. it would be a good place to receive feedback and such

It seems to me that wondering if your following is big enough to release a demo is kind of self defeating? Like I feel like one of the draws of a demo is that it is something to show people what you're working on so they'll want to see more. Definitely include links to your social media presence if that's something you're thinking about though, nothing wrong with giving people as many opportunities as possible to see your name.
Otherwise, you could always try emailing LPers or streamers who cover games similar to yours and ask them to cover it. Or if you want to make sure it's good, have some friends read through it beforehand to point out any bugs... You can't really go wrong though haha

Might I suggest making a thread on Reddit?
