Trouble Comes Twice is an upcoming LGBT-friendly slice-of-life visual novel under development by indie game development team Foxglove Games. The current plan is to drop an alpha demo and launch a Kickstarter campaign in early August. If our Kickstarter is successful, the final game will be released in Early Summer 2021. The project is already almost halfway done script-wise with nearly four out of eight routes completed. For more frequent development updates regarding the game and its eventual Kickstarter campaign, feel free to follow us on tumblr and twitter as well. We’re going to be posting character bios for the love interests & previews of the demo over the next couple of weeks, so stay tuned!

Trouble Comes Twice features two playable protagonists, 20-year old twins Jace and Hazel. Life isn’t easy when you’re competing against your identical twin at every turn. A confident flirt with a narcissistic streak, Jace has breezed through life thanks to his charm and good looks but lacks ambition. On the other hand, Hazel is a talented but short-tempered pianist who has few friends due to the haughty facade she uses to hide her social awkwardness. Already halfway through their university years, the twins realize neither of them have ever truly been in love before. Like any other not-so-rational person, they turn it into a competition. Whoever gets a girlfriend/boyfriend first wins!
And once the demo is out, we're always open to feedback. Thank you for reading! :)
